Best authentic Japanese style! All of the ski resort places are one after another! Our accomodation was the best! The authenticity of Japanese style is 10/10😘it's so amazing and made it easy access to everything with shuttle ski hire( much much cheaper than to hire in the ski resort places! You have to ask your hotel always because they have all the ski gear you need! The 3 Natural sprig Onsen are to tie for! After a long day skiing.. it's the only one you need to do and F and M separate.. you have to be totally naked...( we didn't know at first but you feel awkward not to be naked like everyone else's! It's got all the pampering stuff u need,,, brand new us( my daughters2) every night Onsen!! We booked our quadruple room ( massive) and inclusive Of buffet breakfast and awesome Japanese dinner ( totally love love love it all! All the shashimi & Tempuras, yum:) we were there for a week before Tokyo I still wish we stayed longer as the people staff are just very courteous kind hard working and tipping is not normal for them ( but we did as the service they've provided us just one of the best! The next hotel is also same owner and it's called 'Quattro'- four massive accomodation and only 4( with Onsen in the room👍) we will definitely take this one again next time. Rosaline is the receptionist and speaks fluent English, Japanese and she from Philippines. Japanese people always try their hardest to help! This small hotel is just unheard of but they are definitely getting Rave review for an amazing experience like ours! It's very close to everything... walking distance from station and even that their shuttle takes you no matter what! My mother and I were looking for an Onsen-Yado(Hotel) where was located not too far away from Tokyo. ||Echigo-Yuzawa is only 70-minute from Tokyo by Shinkansen Express.|| ||We stayed at a twin room which was cheap, but there was some reason. ||The reason was no windows with the room. ||It was not a room on basement, it was located 3rd floor. ||||The room was large enough, but had to be lighted on all the time. ||So we had lost what time it was now. ||And there was only 1/2 bath, no shower/tubs in the room. ||Also I inform you that you have to change slippers to go to toilette. ||* You can choose pillows at reception. First come, first served. ||||However, it is good for people want to be out all the daylight time. ||If you travel to Echigo-Yuzawa in the middle of November through Spring from Tokyo/Saitama area, I recommend to use local train - Joetsu Line for your outward journey at least Takasaki and Echigo-Yuzawa. ||You may have an experience the novel Snow Country by Kawabata, if you meet in snow.||"The train came out of the long tunnel into the...

Staff are extremely hospitable and quite a handful speak good english / mandarin.|| You get to rent their skis/boots at cheap prices vs what you pay at Gala.
