Wayado Yuzawa Ciao (和宿 湯沢チャオ） — Hotel in Yuzawa

Due to the 7.5 magnitude earthquake here in Japan, we were unable to travel here. We urgently appealed to the property to offer us a refund, but they dismissed our concerns, and refused our request to cancel our booking due to the natural disaster. I used to ski here as a child, and was so excited to travel here again. It's such a shame.

It’s my second time to visit Egicho Yuzawa which also happens to be my second time to stay in this guest house - Wayado. Thai traditional Japanese style house is really like your home with almost every appliance you need to stay here such as gas-powered heater, air con and small kitchen but enough to deal with every day cooking. Most importantly, it got a bath tube to soothe your mind and body when you stay here for winter sports. When you enter the room, to your surprise, it’s very neat , clean and cozy .
