Хостел Viator — Hotel in Almaty

Ideal homestay in Almaty. If you are looking for price/quality, Hostel Viator is an excellent choice. Very friendly hostess. We slept in a private room with two beds. Beds are great. If you want, she makes breakfast for you.There is also the possibility to wash your clothes. Wifi is great. All facilities you need, these are all shared, are present: kitchen, bathroom + 2 separate showers and two separate toilets. Everthing is superclean! We had such a good time here that we made this our homebase in Almaty. Exploring further away from Almaty (eg.: Kolsai lakes, lake Kaindy, Charyn Canyon, Aksu-Zhabagly,...) and then coming back here with the feeling of coming home. Highly...

This accomodation is a good example of Kazach hospitality. The hostess Lena welcomes her guests whith a small meal and a big smile. As most Kazach people she speaks Russian and Kazach and even a few words English. But you better bring a Russian dictionary. The rooms are big and clean. There is a small kitchen for breakfast and small meals. The two bathrooms are clean and modern but the showers are not always warm. The floor is! This is a great accomodation for small groups (up to 10 people). Its a half hour drive from the airport, city centre and the Shym Bulak ski resort.

We stayed four days in this amazing hostel and we had an amazing stay. Why we like it so much:

1. rooms are big, comfortable and super clean
2. toilets were clean
3. location
4. It has a kitchen fully equipped to cook
5. and the most important one, we were amazed by the owner’s hospitality. She was trying to find all the possible ways to help us. She was very patient with us. She gave us watermelon,pancakes, and this always with a big smile :)
