Dadiani Georgian Restraurant — Restaurant in Almaty

Excellent meat. We asked locals for shashlyk recommendations and got here. All skewers were amazing. Marinade was not too salty and hit the deep parts of the meat while the outer layer had good amount of charring. The Eggplant appetizer was ok. Manti was actually filled with broth inside and had a great taste. We tried lobio (with nuts), which was a nice surprise. Beans and broth with onion and garlic. It was a good hot appetizer. We sat outside but had to mode inside due to a large number of honey bees. Lemonades were great. Staff is mostly friendly. Initially they started with a less welcoming attitude but after some time they got better. We asked for bread but it has obvious mold /fungus which was very disappointing. We showed it to the waiter who got us a new one but we still didn’t eat it as the freshness was now...

I have no idea how this place got such a high rating.

On the one hand, it they have okay food with big focus on locals so maybe all the ratings were from people that never had an opportunity to try Georgian cuisine in Georgia.

On the other hand, the place have strongly rooted Russian atmosphere.

C’mon even in Georgian fast food style Patsatsina they achieved a good level of sense that you are in Georgia 🇬🇪💚

Restaurant has very good atmosphere with live music (however still too loud from time to time). Food is good, waiters welcoming and helpful. Manager did a great job with arranging a table for our group, even though it was busy time during the weekend. Homemade wine in affordable prices. Recommended for good Georgian...
