Grand Hotel Kazybek Bi — Hotel in Almaty

This is a modern, well kept hotel, situated in a great part of town and convenient for exploring Almaty.|There’s a lovely smell as soon as you enter the main entrance to the hotel. The staff in reception were very helpful and very friendly. |My room was on the ground floor and I was impressed with the facilities.|The room was immaculately clean. The bed was very large and comfortable. There is a wall mounted smart tv and a dressing table / eating/ writing area that you can sit and use. They also have a minibar.|The bathroom is really spectacular. It was large and the lighting excellent. It is very modern and has Bluetooth capability, so you can listen to your music while you’re using the room.|The hotel also provides a wonderful array of amenities and a great hairdryer.|They also provide dressing gowns/slippers and a safe and will do laundry for you.|I think they have thought of everything.|There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, which is open for breakfast/lunch and dinner.|I had room service from the restaurant one night and found it to be delicious and very good value.|I also dined in the restaurant each morning for breakfast. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the choice of food available really good. The food is a nod to where Almaty is located and is a mixture of Asian and European influenced foods. |The hotel also has a spa facility. The details for the spa treatments are at reception and available in both English and Russian. The prices were fairly reasonable but I was informed the treatments are Monday to Friday. I was staying over a weekend.|The location of the hotel means it is only a short walk away from restaurants, shops, cafes and the attractions of Almaty.|Reception are very helpful and will happily book you a taxi using the Yandex app. This is a great way of getting a taxi and really good value for money.|I would really recommend a stay...

Beautiful hotel with high standard rooms. Short walk to stores, parks and centrum of Almaty. We were sevels families living here for 10 days. It was expensive and we had high expectation. Unfortubetly the quality didnt meet the expectation. Cleaning was bad, the breakfast was horrible. Bread was hard and the vegetables was old and saggy every norning.

We left a lot of money at the Grill Cafe. It took lore than 1 your to get food. They didnt deliver simple drink as beer and tea in time, Even though we were the only guests at the cafe. Several of tables had dishes on the for hours after the customers left.

Sorry, but this is not enough. I am traveling a lot and this service is one of the worst. There was a lot of bugs at our room, we had the suite.

We spent a bit of time online selecting a hotel in Almaty. At the end of our three night stay here, we were so glad we picked this one. Why? Well here goes.|One, excellent location. Right in the middle of the central area of the city with many cafes and restaurants nearby, as also the walking street of Panfilov and Arabat, and walking distance from Panfilov Park and the Ascension Cathedral, yet off the main street, leafy, secluded and quiet.|Two, very comfortable. Our suite was modern and spacious, very good and quiet air conditioning, excellent sleep quality, a spic and span bathroom.|Three, amazing staff, understanding and prompt. Not the slightest hesitance to accomodate us even after we had checked out but had a late flight.|Four, delicious breakfast...
