Upon entering my room, I was captivated by the extraordinary view. The room itself was impeccably clean, modern, and well-stocked with all necessary amenities. The swing in the room was a delightful touch, adding a unique and enjoyable aspect to my stay.
I spent my days exploring the beautiful surroundings of Almaty and my evenings relaxing in the luxurious fitness room, which was equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Each morning, I looked forward to the amazing breakfast. The quality and range of food were top-notch, providing a perfect start to my day.
Metrics and Results of My Vacation:
Service Quality: 10/10 – The staff’s attentiveness and professionalism were outstanding. Room Comfort: 10/10 – The room was spacious, well-equipped, and offered a breathtaking view. Food Quality: 10/10 – The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Amenities: 10/10 – The fitness room and other facilities were luxurious and well-maintained. Overall Experience: 10/10 – One of the best stays I’ve ever had at an Ibis hotel.

I hope the hotel management will take these points seriously and work on improving the guest experience.||Although the hotel has potential, several basic facilities were missing or poorly managed, which made our stay quite uncomfortable:| 1. No Plates Provided Unless Ordering from Kitchen|We were told that plates are only provided if food is ordered directly from the hotel’s kitchen. This was very inconvenient for families who bring their own food.| 2. No Complimentary Tea/Coffee in Standard Rooms|Tea or coffee sachets were not provided in our standard room. These are very basic amenities and are usually expected in any hotel room.| 3. Hot Water for Drinking Not Available|As per the hotel reception, there is a dispenser outside the room area that provides hot and cold drinking water. However, it was not working during our stay. When we asked for hot water, we were informed that they do not provide an electric kettle in standard rooms. This was especially difficult for us as we were traveling with family and needed hot water in the morning.| 4. No Proper Glasses for Hot Water|We also requested a larger glass suitable for drinking hot water but were told that room service could not provide it. This made the experience even more uncomfortable.| 5. Inconvenient Water Refill Process|Drinking water was only available through a small jar provided in the room, which we had to take outside to refill. This process is not guest-friendly, especially for families.| 6. No Bathroom Locks|The bathrooms had no internal locks, which raises concerns about privacy, particularly when staying with family members.| 7. No Smoking Rooms Available|For smokers, please note that this hotel does not provide any smoking rooms. Read moreThe stay was below average - the hotel was not at all welcoming, it felt like being in a budget hotel even though we paid a decent price for a 4 star property. Starting with the hours of checking in which was at 3pm. very late. The breakfast was never enough for everyone, it would get over way before time and the staff would not refill it, when we checked with the manager he started giving excuses that it is outsources and we cannot refill- the fact that we paid for a room with breakfast, the reason did not sit well with me. The breakfast time starts 6-7am and food items would start getting over by 8ish and the hotel would not refill even though the breakfast time was till 10:30am. This happened 5 days we stayed here. We gave feedback but still there was no change or response. That was the most disappointing part and I would want my money refunded for breakfast. We found this strange and u satisfactory because the city and country is lovely everyone is warm and hospitable even though there was big language barrier yet they were warm and welcoming but the Ibis hotel staff, even though they understood English but still had no expression or emotion to express whatsoever in the conversation. There is no kettle or tea/coffee kit available. The surprising part is they don’t even have a common coffee machine for guest, coffee/tea machine were only operational at breakfast time. Bellboys were not available we had to get our luggage our self (which is not a big deal, however since anyways things were not appealing this also left a bad taste). The placement of the hotel is good, it is central and a hip place, all good/famous restaurants are walkable- green bazaar, Navat, clubs, Korean restaurant and spas all are close by or just a 5-10 mins drive away.
