I guess this place can be your regular spot if you know what to order. Otherwise, it is a gamble. Coffee is pretty good here, so it is my flat white go-to spot. Lemonades are also nice and refreshing. Unfortunately, the food menu is where things are not perfect, at least in my experience. There are excellent items like poached egg and salmon breakfast, shrimp bowl, and raspberry pistachio roulade. Paninis are very unremarkable and barely grilled. I understand that these days anything you put between two halves of bread is a panini, but believe it or not, there are still certain expectations from a panini in Italian delis, and they are not met here. So why not drop the fancy name and just call them sandwiches instead of paninis? I'm not sure. Fettuccine Arrabiata was the biggest let-down. I can't recall trying more unsavory pasta in my life. And it is one of the most straightforward kinds of pasta to make, yet it had the dullest flavor profile imaginable. Even a dash of sugar added to the sauce would make it a thousand times better.
