Lessor Apartments — Hotel in Almaty

2 stars only because of the great location otherwise avoid these places. Looked at the first placed booked with 2 rooms and a washer and the placed smelled horrible. 2nd room looked at was another dirty studio with 1 bed. (Booking was for 4 people) And for some reason this upset the woman showing us the rooms.

3rd time is almost a charm. It doesn't smell so it has that going for it. The AC drain line is clogged so it leaks onto the bed. Refrigerator needed to be cleaned upon arrival. Showerhead needs cleaned of corrosion, (very narrow) bathtub is in serious need of some anti-slip measures. The bathroom would do well with a vent as well.

On the plus side I can attest that this is a great location right next to the Arbart. An open air pedestrian walking area lined with plenty of shopping, food, street vendors and entertainers.

I love these apartments. I stayed 3 to 4 days 2 types of apartments in 4weeks. I could reach everything I wanted to in a few steps. There are lots of restaurants,cafes,grocery stores. And you can find some nice stalls like jewelry, clothes, rugs and souvenirs On the street in front of apartments on Saturday and Sunday. That was really fun stay. Clean, spacious, comfy. It even was easier check-in and check-out. And the owner is really very kind that he helped me out even over midnight when I locked into bathroom by accident. Thanks a lot! Highly...

Do not book here. They will try and deny this review but the place smelled horrible, HVAC didn’t work, they didn’t want to help with any issues we had, they also have electric outlet issues that are a huge safety problem which i will be reporting. No toiletries provided for 5 guests. Do yourself a favor and book an air bnb that actually takes care of the property. VERY NASTY and RUDE management/owners. You can read the transcript below.
