We spent four days at the Neptune Palms at the very end of a busy schedule Golf Safari Trip in March of 2025. We had never been to Africa before and didn't really know what to expect as it relates to the amenities and experience of what an all inclusive resort in Kenya would be. Being from Canada - we had been to Mexico, the Dominican republic - and other areas like that for an all inclusive experience and weren't sure how Neptune Palm would compare.||Well...it was INCREDIBLE! The experience we had at the Palms was better than any of the amazing all inclusive experiences that we have had in the past (and we never thought those would ever be out done!!). ||The food was out of this world, fresh, hot, well seasoned, and plentiful. Tonnes of variety on a daily and weekly basis while we were there. The rooms were incredibly comfortable with all you could ever want in your room. Pillows and mattresses were fantastic! The amenities and activities that the resort had to offer were also world class and fun to be a part of. Only thing that perhaps was missing was some sort of Gym area where you could lift a little bit of weight or work on a bike or treadmill). Having said that, we created our own little outdoor circuit and trained with monkeys and lots of local birds watching our every move! it was so much fun!||As great as the facility, actitivies, food, and drinks were - the MOST IMPRESSIVE THING ABOUT NEPTUNE PALMS WAS IT'S PEOPLE. Never have we been around people who were more friendly, welcoming, hospitable, and generous! They were incredible ambassadors in all departments. We had Mercy as our Room attendant who was a rock star, Teddy who worked on the animation team, Brian one of our bartenders at the resort, Faith and Winnie at the restaurants who always went above and beyond for us.||Somehow their team quickly got to know our names in a busy place - what we were doing and asked how they could help. As an example - without asking for anything - one of the team members came up to ask about 2 hours before we were going on a snorkel tour to ask if they could pack a cooler with refreshing beverages for the snorkel event. We were blown away!!! How did they even know we were going on a tour as the company we signed up with wasn't affiliated with the hotel. There were COUNTLESS examples of this kind of proactive hospitality that continually blew us away. ||Mr. Manoj, the property General Manager - even met us when we first came on site and welcomed us and helped us make some plans! Talk about incredible leadership from the top. No wonder why the people are so amazing! The leadership they work under is fantastic and recognize the importance of having great people who work on their team.||We can't recommend Neptune Palms more and look forward to visiting their other properties as well. It is a home run and a decision you will look back on (as we have) and be so thankful that you decided to stay with their team and family! The Neptune Palms has an "IT" factor that will make your experience there the best ever!||Can't wait to return to Neptune Palms and would strongly encourage you to do the same. The quality of your vacation will do nothing but go up once you experience the amazing facility, amenities, and people here! THANK YOU EVERYONE!||The Paley's and...

I specify this because we are known to have particular and peculiar requirements and preferences when it comes to the local hospitality industry. I stayed at Neptune Village in August and overall was thoroughly impressed by the property. It scored highly on all fronts especially as an all inclusive resort. Again I am writing my review comparing it to another famous all inclusive resort on the other end of diani Beach that is very much frequented by Kenyans of Indian origin. But my last few visits have been rather disappointing especially when it comes to food, service, maintenance issues and overall value for money.
So here are all the things that impressed me at Neptune village Food : As a vegetarian I was absolutely spoilt for choice. I didn't have to resort to eating just Indian naan and curry or pasta for my stay. The food was so varied and so much thought and effort put to it. There was Thai, Mexican, Chinese, sushi and Indian food all with vegetarian options. Their salad spread was really creative as well. So many fresh desserts and eggless options daily. They had things like Mbuyu, dates, coconut and achari which is unique but authentically Kenyan. I never felt bored of the food option nor did I have an upset stomach.
Rooms are well appointed, beds comfortable, bedding is of good quality, AC is good too towels are good quality. The shower is cramped with no shelf or enclave to put your toiletries while showering and in my opinion they have generally not used the space optimally by wasting space placing the sink and toilet where there could have been a more spacious shower cubicle.
The pools are clean, the space around the pools is also clean and well maintained. The lawns are absolutely breathtaking and spacious.
One area that I wasn't too impressed with is the overall pool side and beach front service. It took long to get an attendant to place sun beds for us and to get towels. They are also very overly strict with pool towels You get a pool card at check in with your room number and are supposed to use it to get a towel daily and get the card back upon return of the towel. They only give you one card per person which means one towel for drying yourself after a swim and you are supposed to use the same towel to put on your bed. I found this unhygienic and uncomfortable. Hotels who have this policy usually provide fresh fitted towelling sheets on each bed. The beach in this part of diani is extremely beautiful and pristine it really is a piece of paradise.
Unfortunately The monkeys are crows are an absolute nuisance that force you to be on constant guard and lookout whether in common areas, whether in your room or anywhere walking. I feel the management should improve their efforts to control this or scare them away more effectively.
Overall this property (and might I add as a picky Kenyan Indian) gets 8/10. I think I have found my go to all inclusive place on the...
