Red Cow — Restaurant in Bishkek City

The ryb-eye premium steak was delicious and perfectly cooked as requested (medium). And this is the most important thing. Then, since they target an upscale customer, a perfect service is expected, starting with preparing properly the table, and possibly speaking a good English, but that was not the case. The ugly wodden box where they put the "dish" should be avoided, it remembers a cheap Chinese restaurant. Sofa is uncomfortable and not suitable for eating, maybe just for relax and drinking... Considering the premium price for Bishkek (over 40€), just for the meat (without side dish), a small dish of vegetables and water, without bread, the full experience is merely average. Next time I would try the normal steaks, probably their price is more suitable for this type of restaurant.

Burgers were Ok. The reason it was ok because pickles were inserted inside and made it very juice and made patties to be soft as well. I like my pickles on the side not inside (I have should mentioned that to waitress so my bet) Another reason for three stars because of the waitress. We were there as a family and had two kids one is toddler and one is infant. Waitress seemed did not like us, may be we were underdressed for this type of place, but honestly I went there just to try burgers because have not found a place in Bishkek with the best burgers yet. Everything is good except for the service. The meat is awesome, the wine is great, the atmosphere is lovely.

It's better to ask the waiter, if the dish would be served the same as in the menu. For us they served roast beef, although we ordered carpaccio. When asked, the manager explained that it was their understanding of carpaccio (check the photo of it enclosed). Demi-glace sauce is easily replaced with ketchup or BBQ sauce.

We had to go and find a waiter to make an order after 10 minutes of waiting at the table.
