As we enjoyed our walk through the central square of Bishkek we had the opportunity to wander around the Jogorku Kenesh Which is the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic. A pretty imposing but very Soviet looking building among many attractions of this centre of Bishkek. High security made getting closer a bit difficult.

По предложению профессора и бывшего спикера Верховного Совета Зайнидина Курманова в этот день 1922 году в Пишпеке состоялся Первый учредительный съезд Советов Кара-Кыргызской Горной области в количестве 425 делегатов, представляющих 12 национальностей, проведенный по инициативе ведущих киргизских политиков. С 1995 года в стране было 5 созывов: - 1998 год это 105 депутатов; - 2005 год это 75 депутатов; - 2010 год 120 депутатов; - 2021 год 90 депутатов.

Since Sadyr Japarov ordered to take fences off from the perimeter of the Parliament Building, its territory became available for ordinary locals to enter, approach closer to the main political citadel in the Kyrgyz Republic. It really feels different when you stay near it. People don't hesitate to take pictures in front of the blazon. The best time to give visit there is definitely evening...
