What a find! ||||First - the staff. They are some of the nicest service providers I have met in Latvia. They are helpful, curious, friendly and go above and beyond. ||||Second - the room. It was immaculately clean, spacious and felt chic, modern and just cool! I loved the furniture, the layout and the comfy bed. Oh - and the room was huge. The bathroom was modern, clean lines, amazing walk-in shower and heated floors! Great lighting throughout, a mini-bar, storage and helpful outlets by the bed to charge phones.||||Third - Breakfast. This was an amazing, and very pleasant surprise. Sitting on the patio in the morning made it feel like a beach-resort, the breeze, the lovely awning. And the food was delicious. The ala carte was nice, and the selection ample. The kitchen staff are super flexible too. All breakfasts were severed with fresh bread, jam and butter. A perfect way to start the morning, slow with good coffee and very friendly staff.||||Fourth - Location. As they say; location, location, location. Just a short walk to the beach, across the street from the Amber Concert Hall. I am not sure we could have had it easier. We were able to walk to lots of great and very interesting restaurants from here.||||Fifth - the staff. Have I mentioned the staff? I am going to do it again, because I was truly impressed.||||If you are looking for low-key but high-end, this is the place for you. I would totally...
Read moreSmall but nice and cosy hotel. Located right in the city centre. Extremely nice staff—especially the ladies at reception—warm, welcoming, real helpful, and professional. You can’t get more friendly attitude elsewhere! The hotel is situated on the side of a busy street, but surprisingly hotel has very good sound insulation thanks to the extremely thick windows - 4 pack. Even if your room is facing street- it is not a problem. No extreme noises. A/C working well. Important fact in summer. Rooms are pretty well-equipped. Free cofee from machine, big mugs and seperate kettle for tea. The TV is good, not the biggest size- eirther—not outdated—and you get about 30 channels. Its okay. During my stay, the hotel was fully booked. Despite that, there was no noise from other rooms, which was impressive. Good soud isolation. Breakfast was good, but you have to order before from the menu, the evening before. But still you can get what you want and is made to suit your needs. And it is nice and good approach, as you can go eat at the last minute. Food is made just for you to eat, and you are having personell serving it to you, and still you get what you want. Not bad experience. Overall, a 5-star hotel experience if you compare it to the the stars. Underestimated hotel, it is better thank you...
Read moreMy wife & I stayed in this hotel a couple of nights ago (Jan) and I was really impressed. It is in my opinion the nicest hotel I have stayed at in Liepaja. The room was spacious and had a modern, contemporary design. Just the way I like it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and modern.||||The location was good, with a free car park next to the hotel where we could park our car. A large Rimi supermarket and a Cili Pizza was a short walk away if you needed to get any provisions or eat. ||||Breakfast was nice but importantly not buffet style like in other hotels. Instead we could select what we wanted from the menu the night before and it would be served to us in the morning. The first time I've ever had a 3 course breakfast!||||The walk in shower in our room was draining slowly so on the first night water ended up all over the bathroom. We told reception in the morning and they sorted it that day. So that's good.||||Check out time was 12pm which was a pleasant surprise and it meant we relax for a little longer before our trip back to Riga.||||I've nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. My wife (who grew up in Liepaja) said it is in a good/convenient location.||||Next time we are back, we will definitely be...
