We have been in Piano restaurant on 16th of November 2024. My husband has ordered a burger, I ordered chicken fillet with vegetables (guessing that hardly anything else could be easier), for our kid - pasta with cheese. When I got my plate - I’ve tried a piece of it and realised that chicken is bad-smelling. In my life I faced situations when I smelled spoiled chicken meat and I know how the smell is. The waitress tried to persuade me that everything is ok. But it was not. She told to chef and said that it is probably paprika or some other spices. Come on, no spice taste like bad chicken. Spices should make food better, not worse. Time later, waitress returned me salad (how should I eat it by itself?!) and said my new portion of chicken will be ready in few minutes. About 10 minutes later I got chicken fillet that was finally fine. But all the impression was already spoiled. My plate was included in the bill. I do not recommend the place as they are ready to serve you spoiled products, even when we are literally one of few clients of hotel restaurant. Do you really want to save money on such a cheap product as chicken breast? Do not recommend and would not go to this...
Read moreWe had dinner at the restaurant twice, as we were staying at the hotel for two nights. We were celebrating a family occasion, so we allowed ourselves to indulge and try a variety of dishes. We especially enjoyed the traditional cod stew, the beef steak, the chef’s amuse-bouche, the duck, and the incredibly delicious pistachio dessert with hot ice cream. We were disappointed by the Caesar salad with shrimp (it tasted bland) and didn’t enjoy the shrimp with chili salsa from the appetizer menu — although beautifully presented, the flavors didn’t work well together. Overall, the experience was truly positive. The biggest compliment goes to the live piano music in the evenings — it creates a romantic atmosphere. The staff is attentive and follows basic etiquette rules.
Important: It’s essential to reserve a table in advance, especially on weekends and...
Read moreThere are many ways one can cook a chicken breast, and at Piano they know how to do it. We stumbled upon Piano after experiencing a rude waiter at the "Michelin" restaurant nearby. And it was not a miss. We orderd Zandart File and Chicken breast. Chicken breast cooked in oven with red sweet pepper and mushrooms was soft and juicy, just like you would expect it to be. The potatoes were well cooked, enough salty, together with cream sauce well.
Another mention is excellent service and young lady with black hair did her work exceptionally.
Altogether, nice experience. Although the course was not from main menu but the lunch one, still a great taste and perfect service.
This restaurant needs to be revisited by the...
