Klaipeda Hostel — Hotel in Klaipėda

I had a very nice 3-night stay at the Klaipeda Hostel in August 2023. The place is conveniently located right beside the major bus terminal, main train station, as well as an IKI grocery store. It really couldn't get much better for convenience.

The layout of the hostel is also nicely done. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms and showers worked very well and were very clean. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and were available and helpful at answering questions about the area, transportation, etc.

The type of guests who stayed here were also very friendly. Everyone I interacted with was nice.

My only complaint would be that the beds are very loud. They are made of wood and wooden slats to support the mattress, so every single time you move or turn over in the night, the whole room can hear it. Otherwise, everything else at the hostel was great, and I would gladly recommend it to...

Nel mio viaggio da 20 giorni nei paesi baltici questo è stato l'ostello che a parità di prezzo, mi ha lasciato la migliore impressione per tanti motivi, non riuscirei in verità a trovarne un difetto. Facciamo un breve elenco del perchè se vi trovate a Klaipeda e non avete molti soldi, questo è l'ostello che fa per voi: ||1) Posizione: si trova accanto alla stazione degli autobus e a pochi metri dalla stazione ferroviaria, appena scesa dal pulman me lo sono ritrovata davanti, e dopo ore di viaggio è stata davvero una bella sorpresa. Per arrivare al centro di Klaipeda e al porto ci s'impiega meno di 15 minuti a piedi, quindi ottima anche la collocazione nella città. ||2) Struttura: ho alloggiato in una camerata molto pulita, così come lo erano la toilette e il bagno. Ogni singolo letto possiede nel lato del muro l'attacco elettrico e questo per me è vitale in una camerata per avere sempre sott'occhio macchina fotografica e cellulare. Dispone di una cucina e di un salotto dove poter fare colazione e di lockers, essenziali ad ogni viaggiatore. Le scarpe non sono consentite all'interno delle camere, ma si possono appoggiare nell'apposito portascarpe. ||3) Organizzazione: il fatto che più mi ha piacevolmente stupito è che in ogni stanza ci fossero indicazioni scritte in inglese per ogni tipo di bisogno o servizio: indicazioni in cucina su dove trovare ogni cosa ti possa servire ad esempio o le regole dell'ostello o eventi particolare in città. Tutto è indicato chiaramente e se all'inizio lo trovavo simpatico, in seguito l'ho trovato geniale. ||4) Servizi: si possono noleggiare bici e motorini diretamente in ostello. Consiglio a chiunque di noleggiare la bici per visitare la penisola, io l'ho tenuta per ben due giorni in quanto l'ho percorsa in bici fino a Nida dove ho alloggiato per una notte per poi tornare indietro e rimanere una notte ancora al Klaipeda Hostel. Lo consiglio perchè la penisola di Neringa in bici è FANTASTICA. Oltre a questo, la ragazza alla reception, mmolto carina e gentile, mi ha permesso di lasciare il mio grosso backpack presso l'ostello mentre giravo per due giorni per la penisola. ||Per tutto questo io non riesco davvero a trovare un difetto a questo ostello, lo...

A truly great hostel. Every bed in the dorm has two plugs and a light. The bathrooms are very clean and the whole places seems to be recently renovated very nicely. Kitchen, fridge, computer are all available for use. They'll do laundry for a fee. They have bike rentals for he reasonable price of 12eur/day and the bikes are decent too. On top of all that, reception is extremely helpful. They helped me figure out how to get to and from the Curonian Spit for a day cycling since I didn't have much time in town. They even got up VERY early to get me a bike since I wanted to leave then. Amazing. Above and beyond service...
