Coffee King — Restaurant in Klaipėda

Not perfect, but yet the best spot in Klaipėda. It's a wonderful place to have conversations with your mates or just work and do something by yourself. The coffee is absolutely delicious, you can taste the actual coffee, not like in other coffee shops. Coffees have a rich taste and the additional flavours complement it. I've already tried allmost all types of coffee there, gotta say Candy coffee is the best, or just plain black, you choose. Special offer coffees are great, don't be afraid to offer some. Coffee shop is very homey and very cosy, although you gotta be lucky to find place to sit at most times. The music is wonderful, old music rocks. Though sometimes music is too loud and when it combines with lots of people talking loud, you already know. I might just not be a target group for this café but almost everything we ordered there was just so overwhelmingly sweet. The caramel cake was coated in white sugar (the top and also the bottom), one other desert (some sort of a cream and custard cake) was also very sweet, the black tea with fruit had some sort of syrup in it that made it almost not taste like a tea. The one thing that was actually good was the oatmeal with fruit because that didn't seem to have any sugar added to it. Generally a positive experience, central location, quite place. The service is fast, but could be more friendly/welcoming. The bakery selection was not impressive: modest selection, the pastries did not look particularly appealing, we tried two types, tasted ok. Coffee was good for my taste.
