New Town Hotel — Hotel in Vilnius

Generally average if you are in for a short stay where you would only need to have a bed and breakfast then get on your way. Pretty close to main Vilnius attractions and walking distance from main business street. Stayed there for two nights and it was not bad. Room is clean however there was only one bath towel and no hand towels in the washroom. Moreover, next day after I checked in late in the evening, my room was not fixed and there has been no sign of any housekeeping done. I checked out and went to Loop Hotel as I tried it in my previous visit and it is quite nicer and more professional. Breakfast was ok to go with.||As a budget, I didnt find it that competing and compared to better quality rooms around Vilnius, it needs a lot of managerial and...

Upon our arrival, we realized that the bed had not been made. Surely, we thought, there must be a mistake — but then we started reading, too late, other reviews and discovered this was a common issue. We had made a naïve mistake booking this hotel. After writing to the hotel manager, who was rude and slow to respond (to say the least), we decided to make the bed ourselves and move on.

The room, all in all, was decent, apart from the door lock, which kept beeping due to some kind of electronic malfunction. The bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied from previous guests' trash.

Anyhow, we managed for our two-day stay, but I still would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away — there are far better options...

Hotelmanager burst and threw keys on the floor and screamed as we questioned our breakfast.When we arrived I asked if we booked breakfast. He said breakfast was served at a cafe nearby and gave us directions there. The second day at breakfast they asked for a business card from the hotel and said that otherwise we will pay, they called the hotel. We paid for both days and picked it up at the hotel when we came back.||He got so mad and told us to swim back to Scandinavia and threw my husband out and patted him on the hand! Shortly after, we received an email from Booking that he cancelled us as a NoShow-custumer so we cannot leave a review on Booking! Have never experienced...
