11.21 UNDICI VENTUNO — Restaurant in Vilnius

Went for the weekend in Vilnius with a friend of mine, I had the possibility to eat in this beautiful restaurant! What can i say? The staff was amazing! Marco, the owner, is really a stunning person, istantly made us comfortable, feeling like we were at home having a dinner with friends. We ate at the first floor, that is cool without being too much formal (if you have the possibility to go at the second floor, you will appreciate a great atmosphere, it's perfect for a wedding's or birthday's dinner and so on). and what about the food? I'm italian, so i was really courious to know how an italian restaurant (by italian people) could express the original italian style outside Italy. Marco told us that He always choose the best products, with the highest level of quality, in order to let the customers experience the original italian cuisine and dishes, offering them at a reasonable price. I think (and I swear is not a lie) that Undici Ventuno is one of the best restaurants where i have eaten, even in Italy it would be hard to find a better place with these prices. I'm sure that if I'll come again in Vilinus, i'll go here again for try new dishes and meet Marco and his staff! a great thanks to Marco and Vitalija for this...

A nice and simple place where good Italian food is served. Especially good pasta! But let's start with antipasti. Taglierini - a plate of cheese, sausage, some fresh spinach, olives and artichokes. Good assortment but nothing very special. Buratta fritta was new to me and even though I am not a fan of deep-fried dishes but this deep-fried burrata ball with tomato sauce was mouthwatering. For the main dishes my husband had porcini tagliatelle, my son choose tagliatelle alla bolognese and I tried ravioli di burrata. All these dishes were just perfect. We also wanted to try some pinsas but there were some problems with the oven. So we will try it next time. For dessert, they serve classical tiramisu which is made without eggs. So it's a safe option for those who are afraid of salmonellosis. But frankly, I prefer to take a risk and try an original version of the recipe. Also, I didn't like that tiramisu was served in plastic cups. After dinner, we were treated with shots of sweet liquor which was a very nice gesture from the owner. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and welcoming and I want to come back. There is also a small shop with different Italian goodies like cheese, the highest quality olive oil, pasta,...

I was visiting my brother in Vilnius, who suggested having dinner in this restaurant. I'm usually very reluctant to eat in Italian restaurants abroad, but Undici Ventuno is really next level. The food was simply delicious and all the ingredients are really really top quality, chosen one by one by the owner Marco, who gently presents all the dishes. It's difficult to choose my favorite one because I tried several. But I can say without any doubt that I've eaten the best octopus of my life here. Then, the selection of wines is very wide and contains lovely products from all over Italy. All the staff members are very kind and welcoming and take care of customers so well. The most amazing thing for me is the value for money of this restaurant. In fact, living abroad, I have never eaten in a place that can guarantee such quality, keeping prices so low. Really congratulations to all the guys who work here! Undici Ventuno is absolutely a restaurant to try for a real Italian...
