Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant.

First, the room had a strong odor, almost like cigarette smoke. When I asked the staff to spray some air freshener, they made a face and didn’t seem too eager to help. On top of that, the TV didn’t work at all. I asked the staff for assistance, but they kept saying the system was down and offered no solution.

To make matters worse, the bedding was absolutely disgusting. The bedsheets, blankets, and pillowcases were not only dirty, but they also smelled terribly. I felt completely uncomfortable throughout my entire stay.

Another major issue was the lack of service. I had to dispose of all my own rubbish because the staff showed no interest in doing so. It was clear that they didn’t care much about guest comfort or satisfaction.

When I mentioned all these complaints to the staff, one of the employees wearing a hijab dismissed my concerns by saying, "This is a 2-star hotel, not a 4-star." I've stayed in 2-star hotels in Kuala Lumpur before, and they did not look or feel anything like this. No matter how many stars a hotel has, the service should always be a priority. I spent over RM800 on this stay, and I feel completely let down.

If you've already booked here, I am sorry for you. If you are looking for a room, I do recommend you to stay elsewhere (I would have loved to have a room just in front of, at the TAT hotel).

First night that we arrived, there was a cockroach and a gecko in OUR room.

The breakfast is very poor (they only have boiled eggs and sandwich bread) so they rather not offer anything (we went outside for extra breakfast every day).

They don't clean during the whole stay, so the garbage tops up in the room.

They ask you to put your shoes off before entering the "hotel", but there is no chair or bench to do it comfortably. Plus there is a whole mess in the entry with all the shoes from people...

Also, the roof seems to be made of tinplate, so when it rains is extremely noisy.

Very noisy, dirty surrounding and could not sleep during the whole night with dogs barking and early morning with noise of motors and cars and neighbors’ shutting doors. I can not rest at all. Travel agency booked it with photos of clean, clear environment, unfortunately I found it located in a very complicated neighborhood. if you are coming here expect for a peaceful and comfortable holiday hotel stay, do avoid it. If you come with a budget and can stand lousy environment, this is still too high in budget. If you come with a backpacker expectation, the room is spacious and comparatively clean, but they called them “a hotel” which they are should set the expectation as hostel or motel.
