ANG LEE HOLIDAY STAY 安利假日旅店 — Hotel in Borneo

I believe that this place would be the cheapest and largest family room in Semporna. I went there with Agoda booking for 2 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival about 1pm, there is no receptionist at the counter. Rooms are all on second floor.|Met a lady downstairs, I suppose is the owner and let us checked in. She is very friendly and told us that actually, they do not allow 4 person in a room without adding an extra bed. But I told her that it was allowed in Agoda booking. They should update the service provider if that is the case. She said its OK, she'll give us the extra bed without any charges. It was a pleasant encounter but what if they insist? It's either the failure of the service provider or the owner themselves.|Location is about 600m from seafood Street or jetty, we usually drives. But I believe its walkable.|Breakfast coupon was given and to be claimed at the mamak store downstairs. Food is terrible.|Room picture in Agoda was with a hanging chair but I was given the one without. Owner said not all rooms has that. My room was having a backyard, opposite a restaurant I believe. I did not open the balcony as it smells. Bathroom however has a sewage smell. Room is OK. There is no soundproofing as I heard footsteps every now and then, my room was the first from reception. There are dogs barking and cats meowing...

Location a bit far from jetty, although still within walking distance 10 - 15 mins. Hotel room is very basic, and cosy. Hotel is also equipped with washing machine , water dispenser for the convenience of guests. Cleanliness of the streets nearby hotel need to be improved. Hope Semporna district office can pay attention to upgrade overall...
