PALY HOTEL — Hotel in Borneo

Decided to try out Paly for 3 nights in the early Jan 2022. I remember passing by the outside which sadly looks kinda dodgy and old. ||I dropped by the reception/lobby area around 9pm asking if I could check in early the next day but there were nobody at the reception and 2 guys just chilling in the couch inappropriately. ||Luckily the next day when we arrive in the morning for our check in, it went smoothly. The reception, a guy and a lady was very helpful. They allowed us to leave our luggage at the counter since our room was not ready yet. And they also let us checkout late.. But when it comes to 8pm or later, they won't be around and nobody seems to be able to attend to you. ||We had a studio room which was cozy and just nice for the 2 of us. Bedroom was super comfy and the bathroom was great! Hot shower and high pressured water is always good.||However, the couch we had in the lounge area was not the cleanest. You could see stains of coffee on it. The TV box did not had anything on it. And the cups were not clean. ||Other than that, it was alright. The location is quite good too as we could walk to Mcd, Shell and Laundry service.||Do not get confuse with Paly & Neo Paly. They are 2 totally...

Stayed in the Family Room, the room is tastefully designed, and thats the only good part. Location is ok, need to take a transport to the jetty. Walls are thin, noisy from the inside of the hotel as well as outside. Can’t sleep well. Room is too small to feel comfy. Priced at RM190 inclusive of breakfast. The packed breakfast’s bad, just some plain fried meehoon with french fries and 2 nuggets (photo as attached).
