I had booked in for 3 nights - December 2024. The owner states that there is a quiet period from 10 pm to 7 am but there's no one on site to enforce this. This is 4 properties knocked into one. It is so noisy you are even given ear plugs when you check in. It's really bad. I notice that the photos focus on one particular bedroom and mine, also ensuite, did not look anything like the one in the pictures. I don't know how many bedrooms have shared facilities but the only other room by mine (directly opposite room 5) mine being room 6 didn't have their own facilities. They thought nothing but to keep trooping up and down the wooden stairs at 11.15 pm, bang bang bang and every time you unlock the door you have to key in 5 digits which played a bit of a tune. If you want serenity and you don't want to hear the front door being banged shut with 5 digits also playing a tune every time someone enters the property (midnight) then this is not the place for you and it is certainly not what I had paid for. My room had no TV or pictures and it looked more like a prison. People said how wonderful it is to be given cold water and bread but the local hostel also offers this. Avoid. For some reason I can't share pictures here...
Read moreWe enjoyed our stay overall — the room was spacious, the neighborhood was quiet, and the host kindly allowed us a 1-hour late check-out, which we appreciated.
However, there were a few issues that affected our experience. On the last night, loud karaoke from a nearby premise disrupted the peaceful environment. The wooden staircase was also quite noisy — we could hear every step from other guest, and the way some slammed their room doors was clearly audible even from the ground floor.
The most concerning issue was with the bathroom. Dirty water from the shared living area sink was redirected into our bathroom sink, causing an unpleasant mess. We reported it to the staff, but it happened two more times. The host should consider placing clear signage to remind guest not to dispose of food waste in the sink and to use the garbage bin instead.
We really loved the villa and wanted to give 5 stars, but these issues unfortunately affected our comfort. With some improvements, this place has...

Our experience at Heritage Villa by Aayu was very disappointing. We travelled as a family of two adults, a 74-year-old mother ( semi-dependant ) and two children, but upon arrival, we were informed that it is clearly a place meant strictly for 3 max person allowed per room — something not mentioned in the property policy.
It was confusing that the property offers a free extra bed yet still refused to allow more than three people. If occupancy is strictly limited, mentioning ( in Booking.com ) a free extra bed / cot is misleading and should be removed.
Our booking was non-refundable, so we had to leave and lost the amount paid. The “extra large bed” was smaller than expected, and the steep, narrow stairs made the property unsuitable and not safe for elderly guests and family .
The listing should be updated with accurate occupancy and accessibility details to prevent similar issues for...
