I stayed in this hotel twice on different occasions. As my partner and I were on a self-planned trip the second time, having Internet access in the hotel room was pretty necessary. The first time I stayed here was great - the room had pretty strong WiFi signal, the room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was clean too. I was thinking of staying in another hotel the next trip for the sake of variety, but we were pretty late for booking so we had to settle for the same hotel, and I thought why not, the hotel was great for me the first time.||||Too bad the second time, the room had no WiFi signal, and even as I went out to the corridor and to the lobby where the counter was, the network password provided on a small piece of paper given did not work. After approaching the staff, he offered to restart the router. Another traveler was already waiting around the lobby for the router to be fixed too. The staff told us to wait another 10 to 30 minutes before trying again. We did not bother waiting and just went ahead with our usual plans. When we came back, the WiFi still was not working. So for travelers who are looking for reliable Internet access, you may count this place out... If you're a Singaporean traveler, just get a roaming plan.||||This hotel has no elevators, mind you. So be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs. What makes this worse is the absence of a room telephone, so requests have to be made directly with the staff at the lobby down the first floor, and you'd have to climb some flights of stairs to do that.||||I guess all in all the place is great if you're just looking for somewhere to settle for a night or two, if you're not particular about Internet access, and if you're don't have high expectations of service. The room was clean at least for us both times.||||Oh, you get to watch both Malaysian and Singapore FTA channels on their television set, if anyone's particular about that.||||I must say for the money paid, the experience was good enough. And there are interesting amenities all around the hotel, including some small little restaurants and bubble tea shops that operate into the wee hours. And you have Sutera Mall just right in the vicinity, what more can you ask? :) Things there are pretty cheap too, relative to...
Read morePlease do not stay here, you will be miserable. They allow smoking in the rooms (which was not mentioned on the booking website), so you will suffer with lung problems for the duration of your stay, then leave with all of your belongings absolutely reeking of the scent. There was a cockroach in the room, the ends of used cigarettes scattered throughout all of the hallways, a crack in the glass front door, the window does not close properly, mould on the ceiling, holes in the curtains, small insects in the bathroom and the location...
Read moreWent to this place as a rest area, but the area was not very clean so I decided not to stay there. The place looks very under maintained you can see dust all over the floor and the toilet was not in the best shape. They didn’t provide much in the room such as complementary food or drinks and the room had a stench like smell. and it also wasn’t soundproof so you can hear every step on the corridor. The good side about this place is the location, it is very convenient and it is only five minutes away...
