Our fourth time here. Ambience was good, great selection of beers from different countries. Music were good, pop songs that were up to date. Service was great with friendly servers ard. Toilets were also clean, basic hygiene met well. Pool table is great to be there for families even with many kids.
Food wise, i must say the finger food/appetitisers taste better than the main course. Spicy BBQ wings is a must-order appetitiser, taste super nice. But with prices like these in a bistro (pork chops abt RM32.00 and Lamb Shanks ard RM40.00 if not rem wrongly), reri cannot complain much.
The only downside is there r lots of mosquitoes inside the restuarant, need to apply insect repellent if u r wearing skirts or shorts to prevent getting bitten. Maybe cos of the dark wood decor inside n with open door concept, it can really attracts lots of mosquitoes and flies in the night.
Otherwise, it is an extremely good chill out place with great ambience, great services by friendly servers with wide selection of beers to spend...

The lamb shank was soft and tender with the two different sauces they provided. The sides that come with it were great, too (spinach and mash potatoes).
As for service, the food was served quite fast. But sometimes, I find that it is hard to get the waiter/waitress here when we need something. They seldom come out to the area outside. Overall, it was a...
Read moreOk, felt slightly cheated by that "expensive" half pint of Sapporo earlier today, so I'm determined to find a proper watering hole in JB.
And I found 'The Bierhaus Sentosa'. The vibe is not exactly 'German', more of your classic/ standard pub. The dark ambience worked well for the hermit in me, especially in a very hot/ sunny day.
Ok, I read positive comments about their Guinness, so I asked for a pint (they have a 3 pint promo though).
It's my bad. My last pint of Guinness was in London. So this one pales in comparison.. but I reckon it's not fair to compare.
Then again, this pint of Guinness costs as much as in London - RM 41.30 | S$...
