Hotel Zamburger Bangsar — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

The hotel very close to LRT station, this the reason I choose this hotel.

When I check in, I ask for quiet room, they upgrade me to a deluxe room, conner room with huge windows (I book superior), the room is wide, yet found a bit dusty, I believe been a while not assigning to guest. Overall cleanliness is acceptable. Probably low occupancy, not noisy at all.

Desk area had no lamp, and light bulk is not working. I had to ask for a standing lamp from the hotel. I don't see any coffee/tea and drinking water in the room too. TV is working, but no channel at all, Wifi acceptable, I can stream YouTube in the room as part of my entertaiment.

Although no drinking water provided, ground floor do had a water dispensor, and also Ironing station in each floor.

I not driving this time, yet I asking if hotel had dedicated parking for guest, the reception say infront of the hotel allow to park for free, around 8 parking lot, yet not belong to city council (I still doubt, as the lot look like under City council's care). Apart from this, behind the hotel (the back street) allow to park too (estimate can park 8 to 10 car).

Serounding the hotel had nothing much special, not much place to grab a meal, walking distance can reach KL eco city, and if you don't mind walking a little bit far, can reach midvalle...

I checked in the room(non smoking room) , in July 2018, the room was extremely small but I still managed as I was really tired after work, but the door latch is broken, so the door could not be locked from the inside.||I was transferred to different room in the same floor, but the room is filled with cigarette smoke and smell. The window could not be opened at all, I felt suffocated in that room, when I checked with the front office, the feedback I got was - "you can go back to the previous room (the one without the door latch) because I am sure no one will open the door from outside.....wow!!!! what a customer service....(p/s:- she never mentioned if no more rooms available)||||The TV reception is bad, you cannot watch any channel||||I had sleepless night as I can hear guest from next door.....I can even hear their flushing the toilet....I can hear their conversation...It was a long and sleepless night||||We checked out the next day itself (we booked for 3 nights actually) and stay...

Value for money. Great location. And you don't have to rent a car as this place is nearby (walking distance) to LRT Kerinchi station, bus stop, and there are many restaurants nearby/next to the hotel. Stayed here with my family during my convocation. Considering how strategic this place is, the price paid is also worth it. 15 minutes to Midvalley & UM. Please book early of you are going for your UM convocation or during any peak season. Only few things need to be improved is the toilet in the room, quite smelly, and need to install more cctv at the hall area. Otherwise everything is perfect for a...
