Restoran Haslam — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I like this place because of the variety of dishes offered in the Nasi campur line-up. Also, for the freshness of the food.

My friend, who's vegetarian, would walk a bit extra to come here with me once a week because even she gets some nice selection of veggies.

The price is slightly higher than some other Nasi campur places in the buildings around, but of course, still not too bad.

Place can get crowded during lunch hour so I recommend you go early to avoid the crowd.

Lastly, some days they prepare some extra food at the entrance, ubi with coconut or samosa or other kuih. I'd pack some for late afternoon munchies. They always...

UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE.

No one came to take my order, so I thought I had to go to the counter. When I arrived, I saw a guy wearing the restaurant’s shirt, so I assumed he was a worker. He clearly noticed me, but instead of assisting, he was glued to his phone (God knows what he was watching). When I asked, “Can I order 2 roti canai?”, he just stared at me in silence with no response, no acknowledgement. Then, he went straight back to look at his phone. The food was great, the selection was reasonably varied and decently priced, the service was okay. I couldn't give a five star rating simply because I couldn't order what I wanted for being at the restaurant at the wrong time. They did not serve that food at that time and therefore I was deprived of the food that I was craving for. That's the problem with some restaurants, they can't cater to all the needs of everyone.
