Pros Location: Situated directly above LRT Kerinchi, offering great convenience. Rooms & Facilities: Excellent value for money Some noise from the LRT and main road, but it doesn't affect sleep quality. Rooms are slightly aged (building is nearly 30 years old) but clean and bright, making the condition acceptable. Air conditioning is adequate, though cooling takes time due to the room's size and vent placement near the door. Parking: Free parking provided; guests need to validate their TNG card with staff and leave within 15 minutes of validation.
Issues Equipment Problem: In my case, I booked 2 room, one Family Suite and one Deluxe King. Family Suite and Deluxe King rooms had different power socket setups for hairdryers: Family Suite had a three-pin plug with no issues. Deluxe King had a two-pin plug but lacked an adapter, making the hairdryer unusable. Since the room occupants was boy with short hair, didn’t need to use the hairdryer and didn’t pay much attention to this issue.
Misunderstanding During Check-Out: Front desk accused us of losing an adapter that wasn’t initially provided. Fortunately, video evidence taken upon check-in resolved the issue, and the deposit was refunded. The incident was unpleasant and could have been problematic for guests without evidence. Additional Concern: I found other reviews mentioning similar incidents where guests were accused of losing items like towels or cups.
Suggestions for Improvement For Hotel Management: Provide a checklist of room items for guests to verify and sign upon check-in. Improve staff training and service standards to avoid misunderstandings. Increase staff numbers to address potential understaffing issues and enhance service quality.
For Guests: Take photos or videos of the room and facilities upon check-in to confirm the condition of amenities. Report any missing or damaged items to the front desk immediately.
Final Thoughts Overall, for travelers on a budget, I still recommend this hotel. However, due to the repeated occurrence of similar incidents, it’s best to take photos or videos upon check-in to avoid misunderstandings. Once that’s done, you can relax and enjoy your stay!
That said, I strongly urge the hotel management to address this issue seriously. These repeated misunderstandings not only affect the guest experience but could also harm the hotel’s reputation. Implementing preventive measures, such as a proper checklist system and better staff training, is essential to ensuring a smoother and more pleasant stay...
Read moreThe hotel is difficult to locate by driving as the hotel building is clustered within a commercial development. The road to the hotel lobby at ground floor is a one way single lane where if you missed the carpark entry, you will have to drive a big round to go around the development to go back to the same spot. Nevertheless, the hotel is located right next (1 min) to the LRT station Kerinchi that could take you to MidValley, Sentral and KLCC. Checking in was fast as there was no queue. The room is clean and spacious. But that is really all. The hotel has no swimming pool and does not serve breakfast. You have to go out of the hotel to look for food.
There were four of us checking in. Service staff saw us. Room only has two bath towels. Made a request for additional two more towels but in the end they only provided one more.
The least expected and worst of all is the continuous Hacking and Drilling noise from the moment we checked in at 3pm till night. Feedback to the hotel staff but they said they can't do anything with the noise as the construction works were by others within the same development. Hotel staff could only inform the noisy works should stop by 10pm as observed from over the past two weeks of construction works, and if it doesn't, I have to feedback to them again and they will change my room to a higher floor which is quieter. I was thinking since you already know the rooms at the lower floor are noisy as a result of the construction works, why won't you just allocate a higher floor room at the moment when we checked in.......
Read moreThe room was nice, very spacious. Only Food was not good. Taste bad. I need to order grab food again.
Previously its name was Nexus Regency Suites and Hotel Petaling Jaya.
When you order food delivery, make sure don't put Nexus... Cause got another Nexus nearby here which is Nexus commercial centre and Connexion Conference & Event Centre .. to be safe, Put Imperial... I'd been affected by this little thing.
Parking : spacious. Can validate your car park ticket at counter (👍)
Room : spacious. I think this is the bonus. (👍)
Lift : You have to use room card to go to your room (👍)
Lobby & check in: Check in counter really old fashion. Lobby very small, no you can't sit at the lobby. It's only to put your luggage while you're check-in or check-out. Need to give RM100 Deposit upon check-in. I would to suggest the management of Bangsar Trade Centre to improve the design of the check in counter. Hotel food: (👎)sorry to say the taste was disaster !! I was like, OMG is this really the menu the kitchen chef cooked or it just a mix of garbage food . I'm afraid the chicken pieces are from leftover chicken from other customers. 😱 i wanna vomit 🤮 if thinking bout this. (RM17 minimum for a meal including tax) . The cafe is right in front of the lobby counter. Don't...
