My everyday meals are mostly from here. If you want a good experience, come during the day.
If you want to taste a bad experience, come during 6pm till it close.
Why?
First & foremost, the price keep changing. Different cashier will charge you differently. The one wearing a spectacle & the one I heard they called her as Kak Tam are by far the most reasonable cashiers. Others, they just simply put the price according to their standard at that time. If you're lucky, you will be charged reasonably.
Their waitress(Indonesian), they didn't take orders seriously. Sometimes they missed my orders, sometimes it took way toooo long to just finish the simplest Menu, Nasi Bujang.
Tomyam is not to my liking. The portion is too little. There are times that I almost mistook my Tomyam Ayam with Tomyam BAWANG. Because what was inside the Tomyam was all bawangs and jus a 5-6 pieces of chopped Chicken. There are times the Tomyam was too oily. Sometimes, the paste was too strong I can only eat it for 4-5 spoons only.
Compare to the masakan panas at the back of amjal, I think that one is better. Service is fast, always fast. Tomyam with good aroma. Thai- like tomyam. Lots of chicken....

Unfortunately, the original owner does not seem to operate here anymore. Instead nasi kukus and ayam / ikan keli goreng berempah operator is running there.
The food by Mak Jemah is good enough for me. Of course, parking is messy and tricky. The place is still the same more or less.
Also since the operator fries the ayam and food nearby, your clothes may smell like kitchen odour after dining here.
