Lavie Hotel at Centrum — Hotel in Pahang

The best location, next to the Centrum. Parking was easy as there were parking spots available infront of the hotel or you can park at the Centrum basement. Got best price for room of 4, rm205/nite with breakfast, staying only 1 nite Sunday-Monday. Check in was easy as already book via Booking.com. Need rm100 cash as for security deposit. Clean room, clean bathroom, clean sheet and clean surroundings. Room 403 has window facing another window across the street (not the best view obviously). Breakfast selection is limited and provided by Bungkus Now stall (regular Nasi Lemak, Mee Hoon Goreng Siam - my fav, Kaya Butter Toast), located in the Centrum, nevertheless, the food tastes so good. I booked a standard double room for two people for one night. The room was super small—literally just enough space to walk in and then there's the bed. There wasn’t much room for luggage or even to pray comfortably.

On the bright side, the location is great. There are plenty of stores nearby, like ZUS, Family Mart, and Marry Brown. The service was also nice; they gave us breakfast coupons, which was a plus.

Consistently can smell the smell of food from the restaurant right below our room even if we closed our window because the exhaust pipe is right below our room. Even the window is dirty. Complaint to management to request to change the room but require us to pay extra to upgrade the room but refuse to refund us if we choose to downgrade our room (downgrade to room without window, note that we purposely paid extra to get a room with window) .
