My previous stays at hotels in Sitiawan were disastrous and I would have built a hotel here for myself if I could. This time, I hoped for something better and that I did receive. || ||G6 Hotel is a relatively new name, having taken over the previous property here, and given a quick makeover.||||Location was good, being in the town center of Sitiawan, with department stores like The Store or Tesco just a few minutes walk or drive away. ||||The first thing you’d notice here is service. Good service attitude from the staffs that were a complete contrast from my previous experience. We were able to take a look at the rooms before deciding on a Family VIP room.||||A rather large room that provided a king and queen bed, sofa, dining table and small cupboard at the corner, it can sleep at least 4 adults. A water dispenser is located at the end of the common corridor for your hot or cold water needs.||||Unfortunately, I also did find the room rather dusty and soundproofing was not sufficient. But one thing that I really didn't like was that the hotel didn't put a flat sheet underneath the comforter and the comforter felt sticky...don't think it has been washed for a while. ||The toilet was clean but the floor tiles were slippery.. not suitable for elderly folks and kids. ||The good thing about having window was that you get some ventilation but it also means you are facing the main road which can be quite noisy at night. ||Well... not my first choice hotel but it will do for...
Read moreG six is located in the centre of Sitiawan. It provides you a good nights rest and a clean room if you have some business in the Perak provence. Its located near a food court. I booked a standard double. It was clean and had a nice and bed. The bathroom is small but clean. For a short stay its perfect. For a longer stay perhaps you need a bigger room or if you are with kids. Its a good jump start to go to Ipoh or Pulau Pangkor. From the airport in Kuala Lumpur you can take an official airport taxi which is about 300 ringgit and takes 3 plus hours. There are also busses from KL you can book online. I recommend Starwira busses. lt'll take about 4...
