Mardhiyyah Hotel & Suites — Hotel in Shah Alam

First time staycation kat sini and I really enjoy every single thing here.start from parking, ada ladies parking so I do feel safe and plus dekat dengan lif untuk pergi lobby👍🏻 During check in, staff named Haziq help me to check in and even help to request extra blanket for me as I want 2 single beds but they already prepared me king bed type and even accompany me and my mom to the room.the interior in the room is nice and I got the city view.as I check the overnight kit there is only one toothbrush set so please provide two after this.(Btw I already request for extra toothbrush set and they immediately gave it) The fruit platter is very excellent because the fruit that they provide is so high end👍🏻(strawberry, grapes, kiwi, plum, pear and apple) so another plus point there.the dark chocolate is nice with mardhiyyah logo on it but I would prefer if you can change it to milk chocolate because not everyone like dark chocolate including me😅 the coffee in as safinaz is so delicious even my mom like it but she doesnt like the coffee in the royale songket during breakfast.I forgot to ask the staff but I think the coffee beans are different right? The pre dinner at as safinaz is a lot! At first I thought only one plate but suddenly it keeps coming and my mom cannot finish it because she already full. But seriously I think this is the pre dinner yang paling mengenyangkan because other hotels that I already visited only serve simple dish so another plus point.Staff named Ibrahim entertain my mom very well he even layan my request to change the table(because I want the blue mosque view) and tolakkan wheelchair my mom.I enjoy the iced americano as well😋 However, during the night I came around 9.00pm but there is no person in charge in the as safinaz.(The operating hours for as safinaz until10pm right?) I thought I can request for hot chocolate (they didnt have it but maybe u can provide it after this) and warm milk for my mom but the coffee machine is already cleaned up.The gym is ok I think because I only use treadmill.the temperature in the gym is cold enough to overcome the heat produce after my workout and there is drinking water provided there but there is no basket for me to put the used towel so I just placed it near the water.if possible, maybe u can provide cold towel after this(just my suggestion).however when I want to use jacuzzi, there is no staff available (the staff already apologies and he said he went downstair for a while during my visit)so I just take the towel by myself and then asking help from live chat and thank god they responded quickly and help to turned on the jacuzzi and sauna. I really enjoy the jacuzzi.the pressure is good and the temperature is good as well and I even get to experience this only by myself(it is sooo good just like I'm owning the hotel😂) however I tak sempat nak experience the sauna(sebab takes time nak panas) because I am in a rush to pick up my mom from the spa.The spa experience is also great because they offer pakej jimat and I think it is worth it because it doesnt takes too much time just around 35 minutes for RM90.what a deal! Thanks to spa staff named Azira for the great service.I enjoy the head and shoulder massage and even pujuk my mom to go for it😁 For the breakfast, I enjoy everything from nasi lemak, salads and roti canai (but there is only roti kosong available.I cant get my roti telur bawang😔)maybe u can add after this because during weekdays there is no many people.my mom likes the teh tarik and kek sarang semut but banana cake is too dry.the pancake is fluffy👍🏻 overall the selection of food during the...

Food Variety and Sharia Compliance: While the food quality was acceptable, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of variety. It would be great if you could introduce more diverse options to cater to different preferences. Additionally, it would be beneficial to clearly display the halal logo for your food items to ensure transparency and provide assurance to guests seeking halal meals.

Room Facilities: The facilities in the room require attention. The showers and air-conditioning systems appear to be quite old and could benefit from an upgrade. Furthermore, the absence of a toothbrush and the unclear TV reception were notable inconveniences. I recommend considering the inclusion of toothbrushes as part of the room amenities, as well as ensuring that all TVs are in good working condition. Additionally, addressing the issue of faulty plugs and providing more accessible plug points would greatly improve guest convenience.

Seminar Room Amenities: In the seminar room, it would be advantageous to have an ample number of plug points available for attendees to easily connect their electronic devices. Furthermore, a reliable and strong Wi-Fi connection is essential for business purposes. Ensuring a robust internet connection in the seminar room would enhance the experience for all participants.

The genuine perception upon staying at this hotel is that cleanliness could be enhanced further. The bathroom is highly antiquated, and the showerhead is placed within the bathtub. Thus, even if one has no intention of using bathtub, they still have to climb into it. As you can envision, it was extremely filthy. Moreover, there are cracks in the bathtub, which causes me significant concern. If the residents are elderly, children, or pregnant women, they are prone to slip and fall. Even though there are handrails adjacent to it, due to the distance issue, it is impossible to implement effective safety measures.The sink is also prone to excessive water accumulation. Just for a simple act of brushing my teeth, I had to feel embarrassed because of the excessive water and the obstruction of the sink. Also, if possible, please clean the carpet thoroughly. Because the bathroom is leaking and the replacement slippers got soaked, and I could only step on the carpet barefoot. As a result, the soles of my feet itched throughout the night, which is highly exaggerated.Then comes the issue of environmental noise. I am not sure whether it is because most of the road section is related to government departments and there is no traffic flow at night, which attracts numerous drag riders to test the performance of their motorcycles in the middle of the night, which is extremely irritating.The positive aspect is that at least the bed sheets are unused, and there are no peculiar stains or odors. This is the primary reason why I chose this hotel over homestay ones in the first place.
