Silva Tandoori Corner — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Back to 24 hour operation when we visited on 7th May 🥳 Finally, some semblance of normalcy after two long years of covid curfews.

Cheese naan was as delicious as we remembered. Tandoori chicken was flavourful and tender, though the part close to the bones on the drumstick were just a tad bit undercooked. Indo mee tasted different—they're likely using another brand as it doesn't taste like indomee nor mi sedaap.

Previous Google Maps reviews mentioned that the staffs and owner wasn't wearing face mask and that unfortunately remains true. Though covid SOPs have eased up, mask wearing is still a good practice for general hygiene. Perhaps for the customers' peace of mind, mask wearing should be continued for some time.

Eitherway, we had a nice meal which satisfied our midnight cravings. Though takeaway would be our preference in the future as we caught a whiff of unpleasant scent towards the end of our meal. Had a pretty good hot and fresh Nasi Lemak and Nescafe kaow kurang manis here "once" in the morning. Hopefully they have maintained the standards, will be back one day soon to try it. Can't remember, but there was something else I had that was also pretty decent, might have been the roti kosong garing. I don't dine in this general area at night any longer, as I don't really like the type of crowd here for certain reasons(also too many smokers), and prefer to stay closer to PJ and Damansara Utama. I love their paal appam, and I usually take away from them. I've never dined in before. So today, I decided to sit and explore their food. The service is horrible. We waited for 13 minutes ++, no menu card was given, the table was dirty, and none of the servers acknowledged us. I even called a lady who was working at the restaurant, and she asked me to wait and never came back to ask for my order. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all.
