Marjan Hotel Sdn Bhd — Hotel in Terengganu

The worst hotel ever. Everything about the room is dirty, perhaps they didn't do the cleaning before the new guest checked-in. Found the empty instant cup noodle inside the bathroom dustbin, the bedsheet is dirty & hair all over the floor just proved that they probably didn't do proper cleaning 🤮 Not just that, the hotel DID imposed non smoking area but there's still some guest smoked in their room and the smell of the smoke get into our room. Reported it to the receptionist & they are not helping at all. One of the receptionist is arrogant as hell. Only want to provide the spray to help reduce the smell lol what a joke. Not recommended at all. Understand that this is a low budget hotel with cheap price but the least you guys should do is to keep & make the room clean? The only good thing abt this hotel is the strategic location as it near the small pekan. Better for yall to spend your money at the other hotel that can provide...

Stay more or less 4-5 weeks (Sunday - Thursday) due to work at Telok Kalung Oct-Nov 2019. Took single bed room for a bargain price (RM44-RM51) per night via Agoda after rebates and regular stay. Room quite clean, AC and water heater works well, got TV with limited channel choices, fair WIFI signal strength. Car park has many lots in front of lobby. CCTV works well, can be watched from room TV. Walking distance to mosque, shopping complex (nothing inside), 7Eleven, burger stall, KFC, Watson, Malay restaurant, Kemaman Hospital, Hai Peng Kopitiam and so on. Located in centre of Chukai town. Definitely will stay here if i return there...

We had family matters in Chukai. I was looking for a small hotel to stay & walked in at 12:30 am.

We were given a small twin room with no window. The price is RM89. That is the price for a superior room advertised on their front desk. Our room was not superior. Should have been RM69. No lift.

Located close to restaurants, shops & food stalls. Walkable to Hai Peng Kopitiam.
