Our family had a fantastic stay at The Club at Solaz. The entire property is absolutely stunning. Modern, yet warm and perfectly blended into the natural desert landscape. Although I’m not usually a fan of modern décor, the design here felt thoughtful and organic. We stayed in a two-bedroom villa, which was perfect for our family of four. While the listing says it sleeps eight, I’d say four (or maybe five with young kids) is more comfortable. The kitchen was great, though it lacked an oven. Bathrooms were spacious, and the only downside was the narrow living room. The sofa could definitely be larger for family movie nights. We visited in March, and the weather was spectacular. We never needed air conditioning, just ceiling fans and open patio doors. We had no major issues with traffic noise. While you can hear it slightly from the patio, it’s more like a hum, not disruptive at all. The staff was excellent. Every guest is assigned an ambassador who handles everything via text, from dinner reservations (including off-site restaurants) to activity coordination. Ubers were easy to use and safe, with the hotel offering golf cart rides to the entrance. The resort gym was basic but functional. Our kids (14 and 11) enjoyed the teen room, though it closes at 7 PM, which we found surprisingly early. We’d love to see it stay open later to give adults more evening downtime. There also weren’t any spontaneous evening activities like live music, which could be a nice addition. The spa was beautiful and serene. My massage was excellent. While not huge, the spa felt luxurious and relaxing. We enjoyed a wide range of activities both on and off the resort including camel rides, ATVs, a yacht cruise, a hike, art walk in San José, horseback riding, jet skiing, and more. The beach was swimmable during our stay and gorgeous. Dining overall was great. Lunch options were a standout. Most dinners were very good, though a couple of restaurants (like the Italian one) felt underwhelming, especially for kids. I’d love to see more kid-friendly dinner options, like extending the lunch menu into the evening. Still, we give the dining a solid 4 out of 5. Regarding becoming a member, we were approached early on and did the tour. The first rep was lovely, but the follow-up sales pitch was too aggressive and unnecessary. We had a few minor complaints during our stay. One evening, housekeeping began cleaning our room at 6 PM, which was quite late, especially since it was just one staff member handling a space that takes over an hour to clean. This delayed our ability to shower and get ready for dinner, and we ended up running late as a result. A few things in the room were not working a day after we arrived—the TVs, phone and doorbell all stopped working. To their credit, the staff responded within 24 hours and resolved all the issues. There was no ability to cast from a phone to the TV beyond playing music, which we thought was odd for a five-star resort. I highly recommend that they allow guests to cast from one's phone to watch TV and movies.

In all, The Club at Solaz delivered an exceptional experience. Beautiful setting, thoughtful service, and great amenities. We’re already considering returning in December and would highly recommend it to anyone...

My family and I had a truly unforgettable stay at the Solaz Signature Suites! The resort is stunning and the staff is extraordinary. The friendliness of the staff, the beauty of the property, the level of service and everything else there was absolutely perfect. Our room was incredible - the 2 bedroom suite was spectacular in every way from the beautiful entry courtyard to the modern amazing furnishings to the peaceful, oversized patio with a magnificent ocean view. Our travels have taken us to many beautiful vacation spots throughout the world and our experience at the Solaz was by far at the top of the list. I cannot even begin to describe the level of service we experienced as it among the highest levels of service you can imagine. Ricardo provided special anniversary gifts to our upgraded suite which was very much appreciated. We joke that we have been “ruined” by this experience in that no future vacations can top this one unless we return to the Solaz. We cannot stop raving to our family members with the hopes that they will accompany us on our next trip back and experience a truly spectacular vacation. This review can in no way do justice in describing the amazing staff we had the pleasure to encounter and the stunning, immaculate grounds. Thank you to the entire Solaz Signature Suites Team for making this experience magical, with a very special THANK YOU to Ricardo. It truly was MAGICAL and we cannot...

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I stay at many Luxury Collection Hotels by Starwood and this is by far is my favorite. The architecture of Solaz is brilliant. I love that they have implemented Green Landscaping in every possible area! From the moment you enter this outstanding Resort, you feel relaxed by the elements they have chosen. The experience is what they created and not just the accommodation! Out of all good things I have to say about this hotel, I will say that the STAFF IS OUTSTANDING! My husband and I are vegetarian and we feared that we would have to leave the resort in order to eat well each day during our visit; however, the bartender suggested that we speak to the head Chefs of the restaurants they have available and they will make something special for us AND THEY DID! We were very satisfied with our meals and the great gesture staff showed each time with a smile on their face! Every member of their staff has knowledge about the resort, the area, the things you must know while you are in Los Cabos and their guests! They greeted us with our names and they went an extra step further to make our vacation more enjoyable! I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone traveling to the area. It may be a little pricy but it is worth every extra dollar you spend here compared to any OTHER place there!

They have fireworks every night by the poolside around 7:30ish. I would sit at the swings at Mako to...

Today is my last day at Club Solaz and it can't end fast enough. The resort is beautiful and the villas are lovely however safety and customer service are not their priority. See photo below to see how I had to secure my room while there. On our first night here, about 10:30 pm as I was getting out of the shower an unknown person entered my room even though the door was locked and had a privacy sign on the door. I called the front desk immediately to ascertain what occurred. I was told it would be investigated. After 2 days of questioning the front desk, I was told a pest control technician thought the room was vacant even though I was clearly speaking to him from behind the bedroom door. The manager seemed indifferent when we finally spoke and assured me only people with master keys can enter a locked room. Which in fact is not very reassuring at all. To add insult to the situation he offered me a Spa day pass to appease me. I declined the offer. If you want to sleep safely stay elsewhere.

This is our first time coming back since the place was closed and I have to say I was a little hesitant as we were heart broken when the shut down happened and we couldn’t enjoy the Club for almost three years after our family was fully committing to the timeshare. Well we booked yesterday because it was my husband’s birthday and I can say they went above and beyond for us and really showed us why we belong here. Nathalie promptly checked us in to our spectacular room. Greeted us with with a warm smile and even had David send us up a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates for the birthday boy. Carlos at the front of house was also very kind and attentive. We are so happy with our stay and will be back again May! Thank you again Nathalie, keep shining bright.
