Riccio di Mare — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

We are staying at the solaz and had multiple negative experiences at this restaurant. The first night we went to confirm (in person) our reservation and the hostesses were very rude and told us we missed our reservation. I had to show them my text conversation with the concierge for them to believe me and asked to take a picture of my conversation….who does that? We went to have dinner later that evening and were basically sat outside the restaurant and it was cold and windy. We asked for one of the heaters from inside but they said no so we left. We returned the next day to try for a better experience. The food was not good - kids steak and chicken were all burned. Our potatoes and veggies were half raw. The server started super energetic and nice. But then proceeded not to check on us once the food arrived. I got my wine after I almost finished my meal. We wanted to order dessert and waited 25 mins and no one came so I had to leave with my girls. My son and husband stayed because they wanted dessert. 45 mins later someone came! Too late for dessert. All I can say is Wow. This culinary experience was by the far the most incredible meal we had in the 5 days we stayed in the corridor. This meal was such a standout, we ate here twice! From the wine, to the appetizers, to the service and the ambiance. Everything was outstanding and superb. You should not miss this dining opportunity if you are anywhere...
