My recent stay at the InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort was overall a fantastic experience, largely due to the incredible service provided by Paola and the concierge team. Paola went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless, and her attentiveness truly set the tone for my visit. The food was excellent, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. However, I would recommend the addition of blackout shades to allow guests the option of sleeping in a bit more comfortably. I did go scuba diving during my stay and opted to hire a private master diver. Unfortunately, this part of my trip was underwhelming. My diver, Eric, wasn’t bad per se, but he could have been far more attentive. It often felt like he was diving for his own enjoyment rather than focusing on creating an engaging and educational experience for me as his guest. I noticed other private dive masters who were far more involved and attentive, and I wish I had experienced that same level of care. In the future, I’ll be sure to ask more questions about who my dive master will be. It was pretty unnerving to constantly have to look around to locate him underwater, as he wasn’t consistently following me or paying close attention. It made me nervous, and while there might have been times when he was watching, it certainly didn’t feel that way. This is an area of opportunity for improvement, and I hope it’s addressed for future guests. One detail I overlooked when booking was that this property is not all-inclusive, but that was a minor oversight on my part and did not detract from my overall experience. Ultimately, the standout factor of this resort was Paola and the concierge team. Their dedication and commitment to guest satisfaction are the main reasons I’m giving this hotel a 5-star review. If you’re planning a trip to Cozumel, this resort is definitely worth considering!

My mom and I did a mother-daughter trip to Cancun and we stayed at this resort. When we arrived, the check in was seamless and our room was exactly as what it described from the website. However, I have a few issues with this resort. The first is the drinks, they were decent to say the least. The food was also decent with not much flavor and there are 5 restaurants at this resort. The only place that we ended up liking was the beach restaurant that served hotdogs and calamari which doesn’t say much. After the second full day, we decided to eat outside the resort, except for breakfast, which was included. On the third day, my mom and I decided to eat outside the resort and came back to our room, and our safe was open. The safe included our passport, drivers licenses and money. Fortunately, nothing was taken, but we found it extremely odd that our safe was open. I immediately went to management and reported the incident. The supervisor on site along with security, came to my room and found no issues, but they were supposed to follow up with me. I had to track them down to receive a follow up, which I didn’t receive until the next day. Thursday evening my mom and I went on an excursion and returned back, and our safe again was open and nothing was taken. So there was an issue with the safe. This was again reported immediately to the staff. We were in room 612 so I will make sure that the staff changed out that safe. Apart from these three things the spa was fantastic, the room was beautiful overlooking the ocean, and the breakfast buffet was great. Also, there is a beautiful Mexican shop where you can purchase souvenirs. I would definitely recommend checking out that store.

Second time to this place and the first time was better, this time was ok, we got a room on the first floor facing the sea and the room was dirty, i took a towel and wiped the table with it and it had coffee and cream on it. The room also had a weird smell to it so we had to ask them to switch our room. And after some time we did get a room facing the lake on another floor, the last room did not have lawn chairs outside but it was clean. This is my second time staying here and the first time we also had to change the room. So it is a waste of time, our luggage took long to get to our room because of the change as well. As for the pools and restaurants, they were great, we ate in the morning there then we we went for the other dinners somewhere else but that's because we wanted to try other restaurants. Room service was great, on time and order was correct every time as well. I like the location of the hotel since it is by the beach, you can rent many things to be on the water including a boat and it is easy access from the hotel. The beach was also clean as well as the chairs near by, enjoyed drinks by the beach. The concierge gave us advice and bought a couple of tours and was happy with my purchase. Overall it was a nice place to stay except for the first room we were given each time we've been here. I think I'll try somewhere else next time.

I stayed at the InterContinental Presidente Cancun in January with my family, and we had an unforgettable experience. The resort offered a wide range of services that made our stay enjoyable, including a 24/7 gym, spa, beachside restaurants, interactive games in the main lobby, table tennis in the garden, and two beautiful swimming pools. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, with soft music playing that never disturbed our downtime.

Our room was spacious, and the queen beds were big enough for 3 people to stay comfortably. The mattress was not new and you can feel 2 dents on each side - not comfortable if you are trying to sleep in the middle. The only issue with the room was lack of places to hang wet swims and wet towels. The room got humid from wet items instantly but since there was no balcony and the window barely opened, it was challenging to air the room. Additionally, cleanliness upon arrival was not up to standard, dusty drawers and surfaces all over the room.

We had an amazing holiday, and I want to highlight a few staff members who made it even more special:

Mario was an exceptional presence during breakfast at the club lounge, providing service that truly stood out. Every morning, he was attentive and professional, ensuring that everything was just right. His coffee was outstanding, with each cup becoming even more delicious than the last. It was clear he took great pride in his craft. A couple of times, he surprised us with custom coffee art, which demonstrated his enthusiasm and personal touch. This thoughtful detail reflected his passion for delivering an individualized experience. Mario’s dedication to his work and his warm, attentive nature made each breakfast feel special, and he left a lasting impression with his skill and hospitality.

During the afternoon, we had a pleasure of dining at the beach restaurant “Le Cap” and I can’t stress enough the exceptional experience provided by Guillermo and Martiniano. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive and proactive, consistently checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The upbeat and friendly demeanor made all the difference, always greeting us with a smile and genuinely caring about our experience. Whether it was offering menu recommendations or asking if we needed anything else, they were always on top of it without being intrusive. The level of professionalism and hospitality was evident in everything they did—anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Efficient and thoughtful, made sure every guest was taken care of, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced the overall vibe of the beachside setting. Exceptional!

During the evening happy hour at the club lounge it’s impossible to overlook the absolutely outstanding service of Josue and Julio Cesar. They maintained a perfect balance of professionalism, hospitality, and positivity throughout our time at the bar. Always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, they were quick to offer refills and were never too busy to engage in a friendly conversation. Despite the fast-paced environment, they managed to keep the area behind the bar spotless and organized while ensuring the seating area remained clean and comfortable. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making sure all guests were satisfied. They worked seamlessly together, anticipating each other’s moves and ensuring no guest was ever overlooked. The level of coordination between them was exceptional, creating a smooth and enjoyable experience. Their polite and approachable attitude made the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming, and their dedication to providing top-tier service was evident in every aspect of their work. A true example of excellent teamwork and hard work, these bartenders went above and beyond to make the experience memorable!

Overall, our stay at the InterContinental Presidente Cancun was absolutely perfect, with top services and an atmosphere that made us feel truly relaxed. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a...

Thank You Intercontinental Presidente Cancun for providing such an Amazing Birthday stay. We felt welcomed from the moment We arrived. In fact your Bell Hop Victor, remembered Us from last year - just by Our luggage pattern. He was so kind to provide wonderful service, caring for Our luggage as we checked-in. Diana at Check-In with the Concierge Desk was Wonderful and so understanding during Our arrival. We really enjoyed the Room that you selected for Our stay and your kindness was refreshing. Each day we enjoyed the Caribeno Breakfast Buffet, the choices that were available were fresh and different each day. Each one that attended to Our table was so very friendly, kind and greeting Us with a smile each morning: Mariano Izquierdo Jhonatan Vazquez Gustavo Manzano We also really enjoyed all of the great staff that waited on Us at the Le Cap Beach Club; with the Palapa Service and they must be acknowledged for their Outstanding Service: Ana Karen Rosales Martiniano Hau Tania Vega Randy Rangel Tun Our Room Service each time we ordered was fresh, correct and always delivered with a friendly smile. We would like Thank them as well for wonderful service: Rafael Montiel Each and everyday Our Room was refurbished immaculately, serviced each day by Clementina. She always greeted Us with a smile, by saying Hola as we passed Her. She is one of the most thorough members that I ever experienced in keeping the cleanliness of a Hotel room and we are so very Thankful for the time we shared with Her. We really enjoyed visiting the Deck Bar during Our stay, the relaxed atmosphere and Beautiful view was a favorite of Ours. The staff was very friendly and we always received great service and they must be Thanked: Miriam Marquez Oswaldo Vega The first night during Our stay, we visited Epicentro - The Lobby Bar. The drinks were refreshing each day, but I must say Francisco Ramirez is what kept Us coming back each evening. The very next day as I was waiting in the Lobby, after only having stopped by the first night for drinks to take the room. Francisco remembered Me from the night before; brought some bottled water over to Me and stated He really would like Us to visit during Happy Hour. By this kind Gesture and Wonderful Service, He gained Our visit each night. His knowledge of the Bar, Suggestions and creations were Outstanding. He was a delight to visit with each evening and get to know. We couldn't forget one of the Kindest People to work at the Intercontinental Presidente Cancun, Ruben Cosme. He initially waited on Us in 2022 at Le Cap and we were so very fortunate to see that He was still working at Le Cap, as well as the Pool and Beach Service. Each day He greeted Us, Thanking Us for being your Guest and stating it was a Pleasure to See Us again. His level of Service is such an asset to the Intercontinental Presidente Cancun and retaining Him is a must for your property. He went above and beyond with ensuring My Birthday stay was Perfect. Having just suffered a very tragic Family loss only a month ago, each person mentioned above helped to Heal Our Hearts and made it such a Wonderful Stay. For this there can never ever be enough Thank You's. It is always so very hard to leave the Best Beach in Cancun and feels like we leave a piece of Home and Family that we've gotten to know, when we leave each time. Having worked in the Hospitality Industry myself in the past, in fact for IHG, I know exactly how much your reviews mean to the Hotel Industry and I must state, Our trip to Cancun in 2023, was the Best Vacation we've ever had, because of your Staff and the level of care shown to each Guest every day. We are already looking forward to visiting again soon, once you go to Cancun it keeps a piece of your Heart and we can't wait to return to visit with...

This was an exceptional stay for us as a group of friends celebrating a 50th birthday. The hotel functions brilliantly as a resort with no actual need to leave the premises at all. ||It is NOT a budget friendly option, but the staff are friendly and very helpful, the food is delicious - especially the local dishes - the cocktails are really good, and the rooms have insanely beautiful views of the oceans (assuming you’re on the sea-facing side!). ||The hotel includes 2 pools and its own private beach with a swimming area monitored by a lifeguard between 9am and 6pm. There are 3 restaurants and 2 bars, all of which can serve food. Room service is also an option but the prices nearly double. ||In your room there is a nespresso machine with caff and decaf pods topped up daily. The housekeeping staff clean your room every day and turn down your bed every evening. ||The bathroom facilities in the room are a little odd. Firstly the sink is in the closet/wardobe area and there is no door between that and the main bedroom - so if you need to wash your face or brush your teeth before your roommate wakes up, it isn’t really very easy to do so without disturbing them. There is a sliding door to offer privacy between the bathroom area and the main bedroom, but cannot hide both the shower and the washbasin at the same time. On the plus side, if privacy within the room is not a concern, you can have your shower looking out over the ocean! ||There is a mini fridge in the 2xqueen rooms that is not stocked; we used this to store our own snacks and drinks bought from a nearby supermercado. Prices for food vary but we generally paid £10-£15 for a cocktail, £3-4 for mineral water, £15-20 for a simple main course etc. ||One thing I would highly recommend if you can cover the cost - on the beach there are sheltered beds you can rent for the day. The only condition is that your bar/food bill come to a minimum of c.US$200. We arranged for this between 6 of us, and with 1-2 drinks and a snack/meal each, we easily covered the cost. The beds are huge with a beautiful thatched roof (which also keeps the rain off if you happen to get any!) and fit 3 large adults easily. We took it in turns to enjoy the bed and added sun loungers alongside for when we weren’t busy swimming. Even without hiring the beds, the private beach is staffed by servers who will bring you drinks and food regularly without you having to move from your lounger.||The swimming options are all good. If you swim in the sea, it’s shallow enough to touch the bottom to about 2/3 out. The sand is very fine underfoot, and there are no rocks. There is a fair bit of seaweed, but it is more of a grass/rushes type of plant, and very soft to tread on. The buoys clearly mark the limit of the supervised area, and you wouldn’t want to swim outside that as boats, catamarans and jetskis (all hireable from the hotel) are plentiful in the area just beyond this. ||Our week here was incredible. The staff were great. Not perfect, but really helpful and if something did get forgotten, they would be very quick to make amends. It feels like nothing would be too much trouble - you only...
