We have been in here several times. One time we didn't want food, but were told by a female server that it was a 'rule' and we had to eat. She literally threw the menu at us aggressively, even though we said we would finish the first beer we had and go. If it's a rule we have no problems with it, but we have also had drinks only before and this was the only time a staff member had said to us. We went back again after a while. We were sitting down at a table when the same female server, yelled at us to wear a mask. We were sitting down , so why? She then shouted at us to put hand Sanitizer on and go back outside to do the temperature check. She made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We decided if we had to go back outside again to do all the requirements, we may as well leave. Rules maybe rules but there is no need for rudeness. She gets on as if she hates people and her job.The owner never ever asked us on other occasions. I'll never be back here and would...
Read moreI’m really surprised to read these positive reviews since we had a really bad experience.
Service was chaotic, disorganized, just bad even if friendly.
When it comes to food we ordered a seafood mix ceviche in mohlo verde sauce. Served in a non appetizing goblet, sauce was runny and lacking flavor. Then we had crab tacos which were arguably the worst tacos we had during our stay in Mexico. Dry, lacking flavor. We also ordered oysters with garlic sauce which we decided not to eat after the first bite. Don’t really remember what else we were supposed to get, but instead they mis-dropped us some deep fried seafood which we had returned and asked to cancel the last part of our order.
I know there is a bunch of bad eateries in Cancún and that’s one of them, but there is also couple casual dining restaurants which are really decent. Follow my advice, and...
Read moreWe visited here a lifetime ago in early March, before the COVID-19 pandemic. “Pescaditos” are fish sticks in Spanish, and of course they’re on the menu! But they have so many other good things here too: shrimp various ways, soups, crab tacos, stuffed jalapeños, ceviches of different seafoods and pastas. There are some vegetarian options on the menu. The atmosphere is casual and the place has a music theme (there’s a photo of Frank Zappa near the restroom and there’s a “Pescaditos” mural that looks curiously like the cover of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’). When we ate here for dinner, they had live entertainment too. The food is delicious, the service is very good and the prices are inexpensive. The menu is in Spanish and English. I can’t wait to come back. For what it is, it...
