Casa Terraza — Hotel in Guanajuato

My family and I only have wonderful things to say about our time in Casa Terraza's Samba apartment. The location is a walking distance to the Mercado, the Museo de Momias, and if you're for a trek the Teateo Juarez. We walked the city, as Guanajuato has picturesque views at every turn.

Our stay was made even more pleasurable by the spacious, clean, and nicely furnished apartment. The rooftop view is something worthy seeing, so don't forget to check it out. We enjoyed the view while waiting for a laundry load to finish.

We met Susan who was very helpful and friendly. Celia, the cleaning lady, was super friendly and kept our place clean. Both Susan and Celia ensured that we had all we needed and were comfortable- we couldn't have asked for more.

Lastly, upon Susan's recommendation, we booked Israel for airport pick up and drop off plus a tour to Dolores Hidalgo and San Miguel Allende - he is friendly and knowledgeable. All three made out stay in Guanajuato a memorable adventure for our entire family.

Be ready to climb several steps as Casa Terraza doesn't have elevators, but by the third day we were conditioned and it was a breeze.

We had a wonderful two week stay in the Samba apartment at Casa Terraza in Guanajuato. It was bright and colorful and the bed was really good. The kitchen was well equipped, too. Susan was a great host - helpful in so many ways. She and her husband also gave us great tips on what to do and where to eat. The apartment building is easy to get to and the secure keyless entry to the building and the apartment was great. The center of the city is a nice, flat 20 minute walk that passes a great supermarket, bakeries, shops, restaurants and points of interest. When you are home you can enjoy the view from the lovely roof deck. There is some noise (it is Mexico!) but it is certainly quieter than staying in the center of town. We highly recommend this as your home base...

This place is great casa terraza is lovely it's is a short walking distance to everything a lot of amazing people in the area it's a 10 min walk from the downtown area along the walk you'll find little coffee shops and taco stands and food spots at great prices the apartment is clean well maintained had no problems what so ever Susan is a great host if you need anything she will get in contact with you instantly this is my second time I stay in casa terraza with the cervantino event in October...
