Está ubicado en el centro de la ciudad de Guanajuato. Es una estructura metálica bastante grande, es de dos pisos de altura. En la entrada podrás encontrar recuerditos y dulces tradicionales. Sí continuas hacia dentro en el primer piso también encontrarás comida tradicional, verduras, carnes, abarrotes. El segundo piso está lleno de recuerdos y artesanías y ropa tradicional. Sí ves el mercado de frente, a la izquierda hay unas escaleras que te llevan a fonditas. Es un punto obligado de la ciudad y en cuanto a comida, uno de los más baratos. Sí estás en el centro llegas caminando, sí quieres llegar en bus, el autobús tiene que decir "mercado". Ojo: una parada está en la calle subterránea (los túneles, tendrás que subir escaleras) y la otra está sobre la calle (regresa un poco en dirección opuesta a la comercial mexicana).

If you continue straight in that way, you would find food, veggies, meats, fruits, groceries. On second floor you will find traditional clothes and Mexican souvenirs. If you are in front of the market, at the left would be some stairs, in that way there are a lot of fonditas (little tradicional restaurants). It's a must to do stop on Guanajuato city. Although it is a very cheap option, at least on food. If you are in downtown you can walk over there! If you want to take a bus, the label on it has to say "mercado". Tip: some of the buses routes would take you on Calle subterránea (the tunnels, just go down from the bus and go upstairs to the Mercado) If you take other buses routes and you go down on a normal street, just walk on the opposite direction to comercial Mexicana...
