Alo México — Hotel in Mexico City

The best Hospitality I've had in our entire trip was here. There's nothing that makes me more nervous than going to Mexico City. I highly recommend staying here. And only if you are not a Finnick. You get a very small room. And I didn't even try to get hot water. However, I got a fun walk with Elvira who was very helpful with our bags. Yes, she met us at the airport. We were offered coffee tea and water so many times that I could have cried. I am constantly reminded of the good that people make out of hard situations. You go behind a metal gate with lots of concrete. And you find Art and plants and lights. I'm so impressed with the resilience of Mexican people. And, I've got resilience. And that's why I can be a traveler. If you're an ugly American stay back! I had a fun conversation with a Mexican man that was Contracting with a dairy in Michigan. I like hanging out with Mexican people. I like not being ripped off. I like being away from materialism. I like testing myself. I value manners over things. I am so thankful for the safety net that this hotel created for me. At 5:30 this morning a woman got up and she went to bat making sure that I got a fair price to the bus station. She didn't just give us a place to stay, she made sure we were safe. She advocated for us. And she made us feel welcome. And that is worth so much more than anything that...

This is my wife and I favorite place to stay when visiting Mexico City. Our experience staying in this place was very pleasant and comfortable. the staff was very helpful and friendly they will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The place is very clean and well kept. The location is very private and safe. This place is within a walking distance to the airport, it’s incredible close, literally only 1 block away and we arrived with plenty of time to our departure flight back to USA. Do not waste your money. I tried 2 cabs & both said the address I was given was wrong. One just took me back to the airport & kicked me our of his car after talkimg in phone with this place. I made a reservation for a last minute layover, and in ONE HOUR I could not find the place, & they refused to refund my money. I would be cautious staying there just knowing that they lied about English speaking staff & shuttle (both not true) and refusing immediate refund and an hour of them...
