Wings — Restaurant in Mexico City

Horrible experience at this place. One star just to add a comment. My flight was delayed so I went in here to eat, there were about 3 waiters serving near by tables, after they were done they just looked at me but did not come to my table, I did not call them because they saw I came in and looked at me so they were supposed to come to me regardless but did not. So I decided to wait for them to come as I wanted to see how long it would take them. It took at least 15-20 minutes for one to come and the first thing he asked was how I was going to pay, honestly I did not know what to make of that, I started thinking maybe he thinks I'm done eating so he wants to bring the check but I told him I have not been attended yet, he just looked at me and said ok and left. After another 5-10 minutes another waiter came and took my order, did not greet me or say hi, just asked what I wanted and left with my order. So 10-15 more minutes passed and the waiter brought the food without saying anything, it felt as if they were mad at me for some reason. Needless to say the food was, not cold but not hot as it should've been and under cooked. I had never experienced nothing like this before. This review is for the Wings location in Terminal 1, situated between doors 6 and 7.

Wings has been a favorite of my family for years. We’ve always considered it one of our go-to spots, even as some family members have gravitated toward other options like TOKS or Vips. Unfortunately, after our last two visits, we’ve decided not to return. The food was underwhelming at best. The fajitas were served at room temperature and tasted pre-made, rather than freshly cooked. The huarache lacked flavor, feeling like it was hastily assembled and simply reheated. When we asked for spicier salsa, we were given the same mild salsa already used in the enchiladas.

What really soured the experience, however, was the service. Our waitress was inattentive, at times seeming indifferent or even annoyed when we asked for things she had forgotten. Despite reminding her three times, I never received my bottle of water, and it took about 10 minutes to get the rosca after we asked for it. To top it off, she denied even having salsa when we requested some extra.

Based on this experience, I’d suggest trying another Wings location, or better yet, exploring other food options in the area. We've had consistently good experiences at TOKS and Globo, which would be...

Overpriced (even for the airport) and terrible. I went there because I had a voucher, but wanted to pass through the security filter before eating so I asked if I could order take away food and a beverage to drink while I wait. At the bar, I ordered the Wings Burger with curly fries (for $13 extra) for take away and an agua de jamaica to drink right away. The bartender hit the “bien cocido” button without even asking me how I wanted my burger cooked. I told him to please change it to medium, which I watched him do. My burger was well done. I had to ask 3 times for my agua de jamaica, which I wanted to drink before passing through the security filter. The first time my burger came out it had regular fries, not the curly fries I ordered and paid extra for. So I had to wait even longer for the correct fries. The service was slow, incompetent and unfriendly. Then at the end, the waitress told me I need to leave her a tip...for take away food made incorrectly and terrible service. For $300 you can do much better than...
