We stayed for one night only and we chose it due to its proximity to the Venezuelan Embassy in Mexico City. The neighborhood is nice and it has plenty of places to eat and shop around. The subway (Metro) station is a few blocks away. We took the train from Polanco to Tacuba and transferred to the blue line and got off at Bellas Artes and then walked to the city's historic center, called Zocalo. Our room was big and quiet and the bed was confortable. Both the room and the bathroom were clean. For some reason, there is no Air Conditioning in the room. It wasn't a big deal for us because we visited when the temperature was cool (around 54 F) in March, 2025, but keep it in mind if visiting during a hot month. Staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. We did not try the included breakfast because our flight was early in the morning and we left the hotel around 4am. Overall a good experience!

Do not stay here. The photos on their website are misleading. The rooms are not clean. The refrigerator had food in it, the pillow cases and sheets had hair on them. I reached out to the front desk multiple times. They finally sent someone to clean it several hours later. The air conditioning is outside of the bedroom. It does no cool the bedroom. I asked for a different room. I was told all the rooms have the same unit and that is as cool as it gets. I did not sleep well. Breakfast and the condition of the rooms are poor. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. This is the worst hotel experience I've had in Mexico and I travel there often.

Our stay here was fantastic. The only issue we faced (WiFi) was fixed right away, both from using WhatsApp (very quick to respond) as well as sending someone directly to our room. The place is very clean and the highlight was making friends with the beautiful chef who prepared everyone’s breakfasts - Juana Torres.

(Please read the whole review for update). We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s clean and everyone working here is warm and welcoming. The room was clean and the cleaning people do a great job. Our favorite part of this hotel was breakfast with Roberto. He made every morning breakfast something we looked forward to. He was so accommodating and his attention to our breakfast experience was above and beyond than we expected. Our only complaint was our room had a faulty shower door that was very hard to open and close and we felt should’ve been repaired prior to our arrival. Other than that, we highly recommend staying here. UPDATE: We went back again in April 2024 and oh my goodness! What a terrible difference. Same room but this was not remotely like it was before. First day upon arrival, we did not have towels. The front desk acted like it was my fault when I went to ask for them 5 minutes after I arrived. The towels they gave me were falling apart. The next day someone came to clean the room and took the towels with them and didn’t leave any. You would think it would end in here, but it happened in the third day again. Every day each towel looked like it was falling apart. Holes, stains, and just super worn out. And there is the breakfast part. There is actually no breakfast like it used to be. No Roberto either. They throw a toast and coffee and call it a “continental breakfast”. The person doing the breakfast was very accommodating and sweet, and pretty much said the owner took all the ingredients out of a regular breakfast. Did I mention the pillows and bedding? They were balls of something wrapped in pillowcases. You know how cheap pillows are? We went nearby and bought 2 pillows for $6. I actually think they switched the mattress for something else very uncomfortable and cheap because it was not the same comfortable mattress they had before in that room. And the sheets. Ugh. I won’t describe them so you don’t puke. The bathroom in even worse condition than last time with missing parts on the sink faucet and in desperate need of a coat of paint. Do yourself a favor a stay somewhere else. This is very expensive for what you’re getting, even at this location. The first time we paid $80 a night and it was worth it. This time this should have been half of that price but instead was almost 3 times the price. The owners are completely delusional and trashed the reputation of this place by providing the worst service, worst amenities, cheapest everything. They are just cheap a$$es. I will never stay here again. This would be “okay” for $20-40 per night (at your own health risk). Anything over that amount they’re ripping you off cause you won’t get the basics...

When we arrived at the hotel, the staff told us they didn't have a room for us. They said they were fully booked. We had to insist, show them our reservation confirmation, show proof of payment and ask several questions before they agreed to give us a room. After check in, we had to interact with the front desk staff a couple more times and each time we had terrible service.||The first night, we were told that they would come to our room to help with the safe in "uno momento" and after waiting for twenty minutes, went downstairs to be told that they could not help us that night and that it would have to wait until the next day. So we had to carry our passports and money with us for one full day.||On the day of the check out, we asked if we could check out early and leave our bags in a secured room until we had to leave the city. They said yes, and asked that we leave our bags with the reception. When we came back five hours later, our bags were on the floor of the reception, it was a different person at the desk (one we had never seen before) and I just pointed at the bags and said they were ours and she said OK. She did not ask for a proof of ID or anything. Basically, anyone could have taken our bags.||||The rooms are outdated with no A/C. You have to open the window (no screen) for some air, but it opens on the inside of the hotel and therefore lets in lots of noise. I'm surprised by reviews of people qualifying the rooms as big as ours was VERY small. One bed and that's it. So I guess it depends on the type of room you book. ||||There are two good things about this hotel.||The breakfast is good - much better than I anticipated - and is very complete. ||But the best thing is the location. Very beautiful and safe, close to restaurants and attractions.||||I would not myself recommend this hotel, however if you're only looking for a place that's in a secure area, it...

My room was below average (which was room 203). The AC wasn't working properly, utensils and plates were dirty (we didn't even touch them), the lighting for the entire living room was dim. Overall, it wasn't as expected and definitely made me feel that I was overcharged... Now the service, people there were mostly friendly and helpful (specially the younger girl as a housekeeper). Warm and always with a smile, she did everything to make my day a pleasant one. Now, the one that needs more extensive training is the receptionist. She's NOT helpful at all and doesn't even want to explain anything when I had a question on my receipt from my stay. (And if the owner of the hotel is reading this, either hire someone else or re-train her for her position, she's going to ruin your business). Finally, location wise, it's excellent. Easy access to food, coffee and to the Venezuelan Embassy. Not too far from the airport either (but that depends on the hour of your flight. Distance wise, not far; but if traffic kicks in, then it's a...
