RMS Hostal - Roma — Hotel in Mexico City

Usually no hot water, got to ask employee to turn it on or change out the battery to the water tank... Lots of dust and obvious signs of lack of attention to details. I don't think they know how to run a hostel. Needs a change of management.

Men's toilet seat will literally fold into the toilet from sitting on it. Bathroom ran out of toilet paper in the morning and by night time it was never replaced.

Barely any utensils available in the kitchen to use.

Broken pieces just left around by employees and never cleaned up, such as concrete pieces to the poorly constructed bathrooms. No bathroom mats provided for after showering, but they expect floors to be clean and dry after use?

Dust in bedroom corners. Cobwebs and mold in bathrooms.

I have been a guest at this hotel for a long time. Yesterday, for a reason unknown to me, the staff was absent in the evening. I had to open the door for guests, as the doorbell rang often. The next visitor was a worker named Jasmine, whom I saw the first time. after a few phrases in her broken English, she was able to explain to me that she was an employee of this hotel. I let her in, but instead of words of gratitude, she took advantage of my lack of knowledge of Spanish and insulted me as an idiot, mentioning my nationality. It's cheap and it has a good location. That's about the only positive things about it. Bed is shot. Electrical outlets are half torn from the wall. Noone speaks a word of English (it's an international hostel...). I asked for another pillow they said they have none. Walls are paper thin you hear everything. There are weird smells in the common area. I booked four nights we left after one and nobody asked why. Cleanliness was meh in common areas, ok in the room. No equipment in the kitchen.
