"Las Cazuelitas" Restaurante — Restaurant in Mexico City

We came here for an early dinner and both had the daily menu (that was still available at that time of day, which is great!). With the menu, you get a soup, rice, corn tortillas, a choice of dishes as main course, and gelatina as dessert for a very affordable price. The food was really good and the portions enough - only with a big appetite you might want a little bit more.

The owners are friendly, and the whole place is just a very uncomplicated local place that does not feel touristic at all and gives you the opportunity to try out real local food that you might not know yet (at least we didn't). We will definitely return for one or the other lunch or dinner, and if you are in the area and looking for some food, I can only recommend you...

Abierto de lunes a sábado, manejan un menú de 3 tiempos, el cual diario cambian para tener variadad. En el segundo tiempo tienen la opción de pedir "ensalada verde" la cual está bien servida ( variedad de lechugas, espinacas, arándanos, algunas veces con zanahoria, jitomate y adherezos ). Te sirven agua y postre. El precio del menú es económico y el sabor es muy bueno. Si en algún momento no te apetece el menú del día, pueden elegir entre tacos, tortas o alambres (las tortas son muy buenas también). Es el lugar que elijo para venir a comer diariamente, no solo por precio y cercanía al trabajo, también por sabor y atención. También hay servicio...

La comida no es extraordinaria, esta bien y punto, había venido muchos años antes, yo creo 8 años y era mucho mejor la crema de verduras es criminal, sin sabor absolutamente, lo demás está bueno nada mas, el agua es de saborizante artificial, la atención es rapida, poco surtido en el menú porque su especialidad son las cazuelitas que de esas si tienen un friego...ah! Ay mucha mosca y está un poco descuidado, paredes sin pintar, descarapelada,...
