Punta Arena Surf Suites — Hotel in Oaxaca

We booked this place via booking.com for a week.

We waited whole day until 3pm check in and the owner agreed to meet us there.

Once we came there, they told us they have a problem with the booking and we have to cancel.

Speaking to the cleaning lady, she said there's someone already inside the apartment we booked.

It seems they are doing something really shady, but we insisted they cancel the booking as it's their fault.

Reading other reviews, this keeps happening, so I'd avoid this place if you want a place to sleep.

We just went back to puerto Escondido, because the noise at night until 2am, people fighting and everyone trying to scam you, makes this whole...

This is the second time we booked with her.

The first one, she had an issue with the booking and the last night was overlapped with other guest. They had to find a new place event though they already paid for the night.

The second one, we booked the place directly with the owner and paid in advance. After a couple of days she mentioned that the daily rate was not correct and had to increase it. We agree on the new price. Then she came again and told us that the daily rate had to increase again.

What a lack of seriousness!!

I will never stay again...

DON'T GO ! We made a reservation via Booking for 7 days/4 people (10'000 MXN) Then they said they have a problem with Booking, they cannot see the reservation and we have to cancel it (which would make us to loose the whole amount). They also suggest to book directly a room for 2'600 MXN per night, which was much more than the standard price on Booking. Finally they said there was no more room available.

It seems that this hotel is unscrupulous...
