Maya del Carmen — Hotel in Playa del Carmen

I only gave a 1 star because there is no 0 to choose from. Room wasn’t at all what was advertised on site. Large but very outdated rooms with rock hard bed (even bathroom had a water leek they never attended to after bringing to their attention), kitchen had nothing offered such as microwave, grill and such. Front desk brought it after I mentioned it with a one round electric stove and a microwave that I couldn’t plug in the wall as it only had 2 pins, no pots pans or cutlery to work with. No dish soap or anything to clean either. Better be before 10 am “al punto” for the very cheap breakfast (toast, two cereals and bland coffee) or they will remove everything even when you’re standing at the table. Very rude staff was talking bad about me, then the other lady told her I could speak Spanish to stop her from talking about me. Afterwards, she never came to clean my room. I had no toilet paper, towels and very dirty floor that I had to spend the night at $145/night. I will never recommend or go...

In general a really cozy budget hotel with a good location and plants all over the place.

The rooms are very old school and simple. I couldn't really get any hot water and the water pressure was non existing. They gave me a new room with a better pressure but still no hot water.

In the first room I didn't have a bed lamp but I had one in the second.

I didn't had a fridge in the first room but in the second. I woke up in the middle of the night because it started to make a very loud sound.

The garden is amazing, the staff is really friendly and the location is amazing

No fue la mejor experiencia Tengan cuidado a la hora de hacer tu reservación las fotografías que muestran, ofreciendo el estudio sencillos es lo que te dan a la hora de llegada, y solo te dicen que eso debes arreglarlo con tu agencia. El último día salió una cucaracha del lado de la cama. La recepción que tuvimos el día jueves por la noche fue de un joven, déspota, poco educado y engreído.no ayuda en nada para resolver problemas, solo se pone en su posición de muy diva.

-No me pareció que jamás te dice que debes dar un impuesto hasta el día que llegada. -Tampoco te especifican qué debes dejar $500 para asegurar que dejarás la habitas Bien de lo contrario no se regresan -Y la hora de Check in tampoco es es la mejor 11:00am De ahí en fuera los demás recepcionista y la recámara muy amable jamás se perdió algo. Sin embargo no regresaría y por lo tanto no lo recomiendo.

-personal: calificación 5/10 -limpieza: 7/10 por la cucaracha (no por la recámara) -atención del personal:6/10 -cumplimiento de lo que establecen: 0/10 -ubicación: 10/10 -comodidad: 8/10 el refrigerador molesta mucho y no deja dormir. NO ES LA MEJOR OPCIÓN...
