This place is lost. The service is now rude and terrible. I waited for 30 minutes fo them to heat up my sandwich and they threw it at me when it was done. A couple of years ago, I used to come here almost every day with friends after work and before rehearsal. The food is passable, there are better panaderias, and much better coffees ,but it was convenient, and back then service then was great. I love to people watch. I thought maybe they were just having a bad day, so I went back a couple of weeks later and it was the same. The person who finally did help me did not really help me, made rude faces and finally handed me my warmed sandwich when it was almost cold, again, more than 20 minutes later. The clincher being the rude things they said about me, assuming I did not speak spanish even though I was speaking spanish to them? I have always tipped well and been patient and been a good client. I have heard from a couple of other fiends here that they have also had newly terrible service there. The food has never been special, just convenient and the location and staff were worth it, not the mediocre baking does not compete with the Select a block away (and half the price for a much tastier croissant ham and cheese sandwich) and the new management (or ownership?) put an even worse taste in my mouth than the muddy coffee I waited 30 minutes in line for. Pensé que tal vez simplemente estaban teniendo un mal día, así que volví un par de semanas después y era lo mismo. La persona que finalmente me ayudó en realidad no me ayudó, hizo muecas groseras y finalmente me entregó mi sándwich calentado cuando estaba casi frío, nuevamente, más de 20 minutos después. ¿El factor decisivo fueron las cosas groseras que dijeron sobre mí, asumiendo que no hablaba español a pesar de que les estaba hablando español? Siempre he dado buenas propinas, he sido paciente y un buen cliente. He escuchado de un par de otros demonios aquí que también han tenido un servicio terrible allí. La comida nunca ha sido especial, solo conveniente y la ubicación y el personal valieron la pena, ni la hornada mediocre no compite con el Select a una cuadra de distancia (y la mitad del precio por un sándwich de croissant, jamón y queso mucho más sabroso) y la nueva administración. (¿o la propiedad?) me dejó un sabor de boca aún peor que el café por el que esperé 30...

Very nice bakery and coffee shop to visit.

They had a large selection of baked goods in a wide variety of styles/tastes. There was definitely something for most sweet teeth out there.

They were selling a lot of breads as well. You can buy whole loaves, as well as rolls, bagles, etc.

Prices were very reasonable, and portions were great. We enjoyed a medium latte, medium green tea, and two cinnamon rolls for around 80 MXP.

They had full cakes for sale, as well as single slices of cheese cake, carrot cake, oreo cake, etc.

I am going to return to try the other baked goods, as well as their drinks. They have a cajeta frappuccino that I want to try.

They'll do to go orders, but there's a nice area to sit and enjoy your haul...

my favorite place to get coffee while visiting playa. best prices in town! if you are a tourist please try to come with a few basic phrases of spanish, or at least a translation app. (para llevar - to go. para aqui- for here. chico - small. grande - large. calliente - hot. frío - cold. pago con tarjeta - pay with card. pago con efectivo- pay with cash) unfortunately, they do not have skim milk from what i remember, but they do have 0 calorie sweetener. they accept cards. the pastries look absolutely scrumptious, but i haven’t tried them! support this local business while having great coffee at a...
