Could not have been happier with my week long stay here in this delightful restored colonial. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Parrochia and is close to lots of great restaurants and bars but far enough away to be perfectly peaceful at night as it's on a quiet residential street. There is a small lounge on the ground floor next to the front desk and the rooms are upstairs. Secure parking is free and available in the attached courtyard. My room had a very comfortable queen bed, lovely stained glass windows, a large TV that I never switched on and a shower in a large soaking tub with nice toiletries provided. Everything was very clean and while there was no a/c I doubt you would need it as the screened windows can provide a cross breeze if needed. The front desk is 24x7 and the 2 guys manning it were unfailingly very friendly, helpful and efficient. My room was cleaned promptly every day and 2 fresh bottles of water were provided which I really appreciated. The one thing I might suggest is a bedside lamp as I had to get out of bed to put out the lights. I know; first world problems. Can't wait to come back and enjoy this lovely hotel again especially now that I know my way around SMA. Thank you Casa Arbol and all who work there for a...
