TERRIBLE SERVICE AND ANYONE WHO SAYS THIS IS AN AMAZING PIZZA SHOULD BE JAILED Only waiter which is nice and is actually trying his best was unfortunately a younger new trainee who clearly needs help, unfortunately he wont get it from his arrogant colleagues.

I was staying at a nearby hotel with breakfast only so I was going out for lunch and dinner every day. I came to this restaurant 3 times because the food was actually ok, nothing great but ok. However each time it got worse and worse to the point I just made my way to the Pizza Hut 5 mins away as that was so much better and I would recommend everyone to do so as well.

The first visit was kinda ok, did not have much problem apart from the waiter (older guy) who told me that the card machine is not working today and I have to pay in cash. Considering what I am gonna say bellow I think he was outright lying and was just trying to get cash out of me. I was supposed to pay 80 dirham which is little less than 8€. Since the card machine was "not working" I have asked if its ok to pay in euros which he said is fine. I handed him 10€ which he immediately pocketed and went away with it. I had to stop him and ask him for my change back. Dont get me wrong, I would happily tip him 2 euro, but the service was nothing amazing and considering people working in the hotels make 300eur a month I did not think he has earned it.

When I came for lunch next day I was served by a tall arrogant waiter. He did not say welcome single time even though I have said thank you after each time he brought something to the table. Absolute rage driver was that as soon as he brought the menu I told him I know what I want and I am ready to order. He told me one minute which is fine I thought, maybe he is in the middle of something so I let him finish. He went on to serve other tables and take their dishes and then came back with nothing to do, stood in the door and started checking his phone. When I saw that I reminded him I am ready to have my order taken to which he again told me one minute and CONTINUED CHECKING HIS PHONE until I got angry and reminded him THIRD TIME. When he was taking orders he was literally looking at the girls on the street, completely unattentive to me as a guest. This time the card machine was working which saved me the hassle of NOT GIVING HIM A TIP as there was nothing to tip for, if I could I would have taken the drinks and food to the table myself.

The next day when I arrived I was told that I can pay by card only if I pay more than 100 dirham to which I replied that yday I paid 85 dirham with card and it was fine, with that information the waiter (younger wannabe fashionista in glasses) got angry at his colleagues and shouted at them something in arrabic, probably something along the lines why they have done that when they cannot scam me now. Knowing I want to pay by card and that he wont get a tip (deffo not after that childish tantrum) he refused to serve me and sent the young apprentice who barely spoke english. This young guy was however the only nice waiter I have experienced in this restaurant, you could see he is actually trying his best, just needs more training, which he showed soon after as he managed to spill sangria (red wine) on some guests on the other table. He got so stressed he actually starting shaking and his more experienced colleagues instead of helping and calming him down just shouted at him and let him suffer. It would go much further if they would actually help him get better as they would have less trouble overall as well. What was absolute disgrace is that the arrogant fashionista waiter in a glasses literally ran across the restaurant ignoring all the guest just to look at some young girls in short dresses walking by the restaurant, what a muppet. When I went to pay the manager had to call for waiter to take my payment FOUR times, I was very close to just walking away without paying.

Long story short, go to Pizza Hut and forget this...

Something clearly has changed for the worse.

The pasta was fine, as was the Chicken Caesar salad but ...

When we visited at the start of April 2024 they were using that cheap "plastic" yellow mozzarella on their bruschetta (which now look nothing like the photo in the review from John Travers a year ago) and their pizzas. And a poor quality tomato sauce on their pizzas. It's a shame because the pizza bases were ok, but pizza is such a simple food that relies on the quality of its simple ingredients ... which in this case were missing.

The service was slow and passive. We weren't really made to feel welcome, and it was hard to get the attention of the waiters in a restaurant that appeared under-staffed. The wait to be greeted at the door was a clue we missed.

On the door it said they take credit cards, but when we went to pay they said their card machine was broken and sent us to an ATM in a nearby hotel lobby to draw out cash (with a surcharge). They could have told us before we went to pay (on arrival, perhaps) or they could have asked a neighbouring restaurant for help (as a local convenience store did today when we asked if they...

Distinctly below average experience. Promptly seated but waited a while for the menus to arrive. A mini bruscetta and olive pre-starter was nicely presented and eluded to better things to come. WIFI didn't connect, not essential, but disappointing nevertheless. We ordered three pasta dishes and a pizza, so no hidden surprises for an Italian restaurant, but all four dishes were below expectations both in terms of taste and quality of ingredients. I'm not Italian, but can easily serve better pasta dishes at home. Bland tasting ingredients, lack of seasoning and flavour, certainly not recommend. The menu is largely comprised of pizzas, approximately 20 in total, but mine was average at best. Although served on a fresh dough base it lacked any real flavour or depth of ingredients, usually found in pizzas from Italian restaurants I've experienced previously. Service was superficially polite, but ultimately rushed, erratic and impersonal. In summary not great, but then not really awful... but definitely the least appealing of the four restaurants on...
