Restaurant Jade | Asian Fusion — Restaurant in Agadir

That was my first time visiting the restaurant I always wanted to go and eat there since it opened and today it finally happened I went in and the first thing that made me sad was seeing how many tourists were there and how different the waiters treated them compared to Moroccans One of the waiters came and started speaking in French without even saying hello I told him he could speak Arabic since I’m Moroccan and then his attitude completely changed He didn’t smile gave me the menu and left I waited a long time and he never came back to take my order

Thankfully a kind Amazigh waiter came and took my order but I can definitely say there’s a huge difference in how most of the waiters treat tourists versus Moroccans and that’s a shame

Now about the food From what I saw on social media it looked amazing but in reality it wasn’t The taste wasn’t good and the prices were very high for the quality The restaurant is one of the more expensive ones I’ve seen but the quality doesn’t match The only good thing is the location next to the beach and they do offer a lot of drinks I had the Bora Bora mocktail which was way too sweet and full of syrup It wasn’t what I expected

The poke bowl didn’t look appetizing at all The decoration didn’t make you want to eat it and it felt like the chef made it without care The tuna salmon and shrimp tasted like they were frozen not fresh If you’re looking for something fresh I wouldn’t...

The food was pretty good the dynamite shrimp was awesome and they even managed to make my 16 month old daughter some plain noodles and the starters arrived within 15 minutes so a great start.

Unfortunately the mains took over an hour to arrive and the waiters kept ignoring our table or not acknowledging us and I believe they made a mistake with putting our mains through and this is why we had to wait so long.

Once the mains did arrive my wife's food was very hot and mine was a little on the colder side .I then tried to get the servers attention again so I could order another drink but again I had been ignored eventually I gave up and drank my water bottle I had in my bag .at no point did anyone ask how our meal was or if we needed anything which I found really weird considering the profile and price of this restaurant.

When it eventually came time to pay I told my waiter who gave a forced apology but took no action.based on the service alone I won't be returning, there are many restaurants in Agadir with better service prices and food so unfortunately jade is...

I actually have a mixed feelings as we have been here for a dinner two evenings in a row. First day service staff, food and atmosphere were exceptional. Sweet and sour shrimps and dragon ball sushi were supper delicious. Having so good experience we didn’t hesitate to come back again. Next day we ordered sea food satay, chicken rolls and sweet chilli chicken. Rolls and sweet chilli chicken were very good however satay sauce - have a lot to say. I had opportunity to order satay dishes in different countries and this one was not even close to satay which i ate before- it tasted like someone forgot to put peanut butter into it. I am also quite disappointed with waitress who didn’t even come once to ask if all is ok. The part of experience is that they always lit the candle at the table and serve papadom as a starter.
