I ordered the lamb couscous at Restaurant Le 20’ Agadir and was absolutely disgusted. By the 5th bite I found a black medium-length hair wrapped around the lamb bone. I thought, okay, maybe just bad luck, so I removed it and continued. A few bites later, another hair appeared wrapped around a piece of zucchini. I pulled that one out as well, but when I found a third long hair in my food, I was completely done.
I called the waiter over and showed him the two hairs I had placed on the table, as well as the third still on my plate. Instead of apologizing, he brushed it off and claimed it must have come from the tablecloth, insisting it was impossible that it came from the kitchen because the chef is a woman. As if that somehow makes it less disgusting. Later, he even came back with a piece of string, trying to convince me that was what I had found in my food. Insulting my intelligence on top of serving me hair-filled food.
No apology. No compensation. No discount. Nothing. I was forced to pay the full bill for this horrific experience.
I left shocked and disgusted by not only the hygiene but also the appalling customer service. Absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend this...
Read moreA very unique experience at le 20’ restaurant but i also got mixed reviews about it.
Positive points: food (from starter to dessert) was great. You pay for quality food. We ordered prawn pil pil, the portion was quite generous, served with bread on the side. The beef steak side dishes were very tasty too. Finally, the dessert was the best part of the night.
Negative points: we kept waiting for nearly 1hr till any drinks were served or for anybody to take our order. The waiting time was unreal. First two mojitos we ordered were terrible; tasted like 7up on ice. The waiter (Djamel) took good care of us. He fixed our drinks and looked after us the whole evening.
The owner (Djamel) was very friendly too and apologized 1000x times for the delay in our orders and kept us entertained the whole time with very cool karaoke night.
I recommend this place and would definitely...
Read moreAbdou was an absolute pleasure. We have been here twice in a few days and the attention to detail, attentive service and exceptional food has raised our experience of Agadir beyond what we were expecting. It is an absolute honour to be served by Abdou. It feels like Abdou is the last of a dying breed. Nowadays waiters seem to be young and use waiting on as a stepping stone to other things but Abdou is a consumate professional in making you feel at home, comfortable and incredibly relaxed. Nothing is too much and his demeanor is so soft and beautiful. I wish I was his friend and got to spend more time with him. He's got lots of experiences and wisdom behind those beautiful kind eyes. Absolute baller of a legend. Coming back...
